2004
was off to a flying start in February with the
celebrations surrounding Charlotte's 18th
Birthday. Charlotte's special day was marked by
the release of a new photo shoot which featured in
the widespread coverage in the UK
press.
Another
significant event for 2004 was the airing of the
TV documentary, "Charlotte Church - Spreading
Her Wings". The documentary proved to be
essential viewing for everyone, being the only
authorised (and therefore realistic) account of
Charlotte's life in the year leading up to her
18th Birthday.
At
around the same time as the TV documentary, a
companion interview and photo-shoot was published
in Radio Times magazine. Charlotte's interview
resulted in a prestigious appearance on the front
cover of the magazine, a feat that was to repeated
in October with the Sunday Times magazine. Public
performances at events as diverse as the Cardiff
Mardi Gras and the Wales Millennium Centre Royal
Gala whetted the appetite of fans awaiting the
release of Charlotte's new studio album due early
2005. Completing
the picture, Charlotte made a number of
appearances on the celebrity party circuit, the
awards ceremonies and her tireless work for
various charities.
And so onto our feature, CC2K4: The CharlotteChurch.net Year in review. We hope you
enjoyed spending time with us in 2004 and we look
forward to more of the same in 2005! -
