Hello Charlotte Fans, at last we
have all reached the end of this
spectacular year 2000. This was an amazing
year for both Charlotte and this site and
I can only thank you the viewers and fans
for making that possible. As a special
treat for you we have assembled a massive
feature titled CC2K.
Inside you will find the 18 most intriguing
and popular features we have created
during the past year as well as links to
all the content that was added this
year..seeing that we started in February
that should cover most of it ;) CC2K
represents all the work and effort that
our staff members have provided during the
past year...without their help such a
collection of wonderful features would not
be possible. Besides
the CC2K
feature I do have some other important
items to mention before I wish you all a
Happy New Year. First up we have received
confirmation on the yet another
concert..this one is in Houston, Texas USA
on March 14th. If you are even remotely
interested I suggest you pay our News
Page a visit to directly buy the
tickets through ticketmaster. I will be
putting together all these concerts in a
preview feature like we did in the fall as
soon as I get some more dates to go
on. For
all you late night TV viewers don't forget
that Charlotte is scheduled for tomorrow
night's Tonight Show with Jay Leno on NBC.
Kinda strange to see that huge list of TV
appearances from the Holiday
Tour disappear but the time just flew
by. Ok
one more quick thing...I know a LOT of you
have e-mailed
so please be patient, your response is
just a couple of days away. Finally,
I want to wish you all a happy and safe
New Year. There is no doubt about it, next
year will be quite different from this
year but you can be sure that we'll bring
you the best of Charlotte as always. I
appreciate all your visits this year and
look forward to them next year. And now
the final stats for year 2000: Start
Date February 21, 2000
Requests(Hits):
13,568,956
Page Views: 1,133,389
Data Transferred:
232.522 GB (232 Billion Bytes) May
this new year be peaceful for all of you
and your families. Thank you for a
fabulous 2000, I look forward to the
promise of 2001, the best is truly yet to
come. Peace be with you, -
Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, I hope you had a
great holiday and are looking forward to
the coming new year. I was supposed to be
back on the 26th but due to a horrible
case of the flu I have been out of service
since the 23rd. So...if you have e-mailed
me anything at all and I haven't
responded, I will be sure to get back to
you during this weekend. Today
to start off I have updated the Features
of the Week..yep its Thursday so these
are a bit late but its a holiday week so
everything is bound to be a little off. I
think you will recognise the
picture but the
story is probably new to you. The
next big addition today is from
Charlotte's two great TV appearances on
Christmas Day in the USA...she also made
one on Canadian TV and GMTV in the UK but
we have these two ready to go today. The
first is from Good
Morning America and the second is from
the
Today Show...both were shown on
Christmas as I said and both lacked
interviews as they were taped. Another
thing I wanted to mention is that we had
to revert to a backup of the site on the 26th
due to a problem so all guestbook
entries from Christmas were
deleted....I apologise for this but it was
way beyond my control at all. I know how
much many of you value the guestbook so
please post again if you happened to be
part of this deletion. That
is it for today but I am working on a very
large project for the end of the year
that will review the entire years
events...this will be the biggest feature
ever so you will not want to miss that at
all..its going to take a bit of time but I
anticipate it to be on site the 30th or
31st at latest. Remember to drop by the
forums and keep checking back for the
latest info. Peace be with you,
- Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, Happy Friday to
you! This is going to the last update
until the 26th it looks like so I'm
packing a lot in for today. I'll run
through it really quickly then send my
holiday wishes to you.
First up
is coverage from CNN
Showbiz Today shown on the 19th of
December 2000. Interview, Pictures and
Video are included.
Next is updated coverage from the
National Tree Lighting, we now have a
full set of pictures available from the
broadcast on CSPAN.
In
the downloads
page we have a very interesting
contribution from John
Marine who has created a C5 Corvette
for Sports Car GT in the CCFans
Livery. Below is a preview:
 If
you play SportsCar GT be sure to e-mail
John to let him know how this car worked
our for you after you download it. Next,
Janlyn has contributed yet another
poem to the literary
gallery but this one has a special holiday
theme...its title is At
Christmas and I've keyed it with a very appropriate
pic from OK!
Magazine. I know Jan wishes all you fellow
Canadians out there a very happy holiday :) The
final update is additions made to the TV
Schedule above including an entry for those of
you in the Philippines for "CC in the
Holy Land" and the UK appearance of "The
Bear" and animated programme with
Charlotte's music which is a repeat from last
year. Now
is the time when I say Happy Holidays to you
all! I seriously have enjoyed your company the
past year and look forward to working with the
entire staff next year to continue to be your
favourite Charlotte site. The people behind
the scenes here are the best friends anyone
could ask for and I'm eternally grateful to
have met them. I do want to wish the happiest
of holidays to Sony Classical UK, CC.com and
their fabulous staffers as well as the great
organisation of people behind Charlotte namely
Terry and Mark that make all the wonderful
things possible. Naturally I want to extend my
greatest wishes towards the Church Family:
James, Maria and especially Charlotte...may
your holiday be a relaxing and enjoyable one.
You certainly deserve it! This year was such a
huge success for Charlotte that I don't think
anyone has really wrapped their head around it
just yet, I know I haven't. Finally I ask that
you have a safe and enjoyable holiday as well.
No matter who you celebrate or what you
celebrate do it peacefully and try to think of
those that are less fortunate. Allrighty,I
don't want to get too soapy so that's it for now.
News Page will be updated even though this
page isn't so you can always see the latest
there. Also feel free to say hi to the fans in
the
Forum..they'll be glad you stopped by.
Peace be with you,
- Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, today is an
important day for Charlotte as she
performs tonight in Vienna, Austria for
the Placido Domingo Society's annual
Christmas concert at 19:30. This is a BIG
concert for Charlotte so lets all wish her
luck. Today
is also a big day as you can probably see
above..today marks one year since I
started the original page at
charlottechurch.iwarp.com.
CharlotteChurch.net didn't start until
February 21, 2000 so that original site
was the forerunner. I have written a little
feature on this which you might be
interested in if you want to know our
roots and learn about some of the people
that made this all possible. You can
access that article
here. Next
up is what will probably be seen as the
greatest magazine feature done on
Charlotte in the past 2 years. OK!
Magazine has published a 13 Page photo
essay on Charlotte and you can read all of
it right here.
Really great
photos and really interesting
reporting as well. I suggest you run out
and pick up OK!
as soon as possible. Ok? :) Special thanks
goes to Dave for getting these
to me so quickly..heck the magazine is
dated December 29, 2000! Finally,
we have posted Simon's summary on the 18
December GMTV appearance. Great
photos and reporting in there as well.
Please check out this latest edition to
our Holiday
Tour 2000 summary. Tomorrow
is going to be really busy as well since I
have CNN Showbiz Today for you as well as
some updated shots from the National Tree
Lighting. Try to catch a glimpse of all
that stuff I mentioned above and then when
you are finished reading why not go into the
Forums and talk about it with others
that are interested. See you tomorrow and
as always peace be with you,
- Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, today
I have the full feature from Charlotte's
appearance on The
Saturday Early Show, which you might
have seen pop up on the site yesterday
afternoon. If you neglect the repeat
performance this Friday on Lifetime, this
was the last the USA will see of Charlotte
on TV until Christmas Day so if you
happened to miss this be sure to read the full
feature. Now
that we are shifting focus away from the
USA I will point out the added dates to
the schedule for UK viewers, these being
dates for GMTV on the 21st and the 25th.
If that schedule holds true then we could
be seeing Charlotte appearing on TV for
both sides of the Atlantic on Christmas
day. If you live in the UK, hopefully you
saw Charlotte on GMTV yesterday..Simon
tells me he is nearly complete with the
feature so you should see that up here
shortly. Australian
viewers got a rare treat as well by seeing
Charlotte on Oprah yesterday and will get
a double treat tomorrow when
"Christmas Glory" airs on ABC
(Australia) at 8:30 PM. In
the news page I've
added some links to two new interviews
with Charlotte as well as some news about
how "dream a dream" is faring on
the UK charts. Also be sure to check out
the Media
Features of the Week if you haven't
already for a brief story on Charlotte's
new house..err I mean Mansion ;) For
those of you that haven't finished your
shopping you can find some interesting
items to look for in our Holiday
Gift Guide 2000. Inside you'll find
some of Charlotte's
favourite picks as well as some of my
own humble suggestions :) Finally,
drop by the forums when you get a chance.
Llast update I said we had 200 members now
we are at 210 so I guess the little plug
worked :) That is it for now, keep
checking back for the latest news and TV
appearances as always and have a great
day. Peace be with you,
- Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, I
hope you had a great weekend. Today,
I have the GMA feature as well as the
updated features of the week. As
you probably know Charlotte had a great appearance
on Good Morning America the 15th(Friday)
and followed that up with another
appearance yesterday on The Saturday Early
Show. Today I have the
Good Morning America Feature but I am
currently turning around the tape from The
Saturday Early Show so you might see that
pop up later today. Check
the GMA feature out if you missed the
original showing or you just happened to
be out of the country ;) Next
up, it's a new week so there are new features
of the week to check out. The
Picture comes from the SUN while The
Story comes from the South Wales Echo. The
News Page has been
updated as well with new info on concerts
for early next year along with Ticket
Info. I picked up my tickets to the West
Palm Beach concert on Friday so I'm very
pleased. Also,
if you haven't checked it out already be
sure to take a peek at our Holiday
Gift Guide 2000, its a great resource
for last minute gifts from Charlotte's
offerings this holiday season. Finally,
please note the additions to the TV
Schedule above....I've added an appearance
on Oprah for Australian Viewers. It will
show the 19th of December on Channel 10 at
2:30 PM (14:30). As I mentioned earlier,
I'm working on getting the Saturday Early
Show feature out so look for that shortly.
In the mean time feel free to drop by our Forums
which just exceeded 200 members this
weekend. Peace be with you,- Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans,
I'm finally through with University until
January so I can finally focus more time
on your e-mails and this site as well. If
it seemed like Charlotte was in 3
different places at once yesterday you
weren't that far off. For starters she did
make it to Chicago on the 12th to perform
at the Janes
R. Jordan Boys and Girls Club charity
event.
Yesterday morning she
appeared on Canada AM which we got advance
notice from Jan on but we were never sure
enough on the date to post it. Charlotte
ended yesterday's media schedule by flying
to New York to perform
on New York Live! This was broadcast
mainly in the New York and Tri-State area
but never fear we have full
coverage of this event as yet another
part of our Holiday Tour 2000 series. I
can tell you first hand that Charlotte
really really impressed the hosts of this
show, they must have said "Thank you
for coming" 100 times when the show
was ready to end :) Its a nice little
feature so check
it out. Next
up I got a nice
magazine scan to add for you from
Steve of Team UK. This is from The
Mirror's weekly TV guide, The Look. It's entitled
a day in the
life of Charlotte Church. It's really
a must see if you have the time. In
terms of news there is some to report in
regard to Charlotte's album sales.
"dream a dream" has captured the
#7 position on the Bill Board Top 200!
This is major news because this is the
highest Charlotte has been on the charts
ever in the sates. It's also more than
worthy to note that "dream a
dream" has a nearly unassailable lead
as this years best selling holiday album.
As usual you can always check the news
here at the site or on the
Forums. Finally
today, I have to tell you about our new
sister site in Australia located on the
above pull down menu or at http://charlottechurchfansaustralia.cjb.net/
I'll be working with Anthony your
webmaster at the site to ensure we
continue to set high standards for our
access point in Oz. I've also added
another fan page to our affiliates
network, this one is from Kate in Canada.
Kate's been working on this one for
several weeks and she told me earlier this
week she was ready for primetime. Again
you can find both of these from the pull down
above and under our affiliates logo. I'm
going to spend the immediate time
answering the e-mails that were laying
around then we'll continue to update all
the loose ends on the site. I will
see you very soon. Thanks for visiting,
and peace be with you, - Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans,
this is going to be a really quick update
but I just wanted to keep you all up to
date on things before I leave for my final
day of exams. As
you probably noticed at the top we did
manage to throw together a small feature
about Charlotte's
performance at the National Christmas Tree
Lighting in Washington D.C. To my
knowledge this didn't get broadcast on TV
outside of NBC4 in Washington. I
personally watched the event over a
webcast which you'll be able to watch the
repeat of through the link in the Feature.
I thought this event was great and I truly
hope it will be shown one way or another
on broadcast TV. Today
Charlotte is headed for Chicago, well in
theory anyways. (see picture)

I say theory because that's
a photo of Chicago's O'Hare airport after a
very harsh winter storm blew through this
weekend. Charlotte's to be in Chicago to
perform at the Janes R. Jordan Boys and
Girls Club charity event. While in Chicago,
Charlotte will presumably be taping the
"Pure Oxygen" show to be aired on
the 14th of December. Check
out the news page for
some other happenings as well. Before
I leave be sure to check out the two
features I introduced on Saturday: Lifetime
Live and
ITV's "This Morning" . I believe
that is it for today, my dreaded exams are
finished tomorrow and thus I'll be able to
go back to a normal schedule. In other
words, if you sent me e-mail please wait
until Wednesday. Remember to stop by the
Forums and as always peace be with you.
- Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, I
hope you are having a great weekend.
It's Sunday so we are starting yet another
new week and that means we have new features
of the week. The
picture of the week is a very old one
of Charlotte, from 1997 to be exact. This
is part of our ITV
"This Morning" coverage I'll
tell you about in a sec. The Media Story
of the Week is from the Singapore Magazine
"Lime" and is yet another candid
interview with Charlotte if you have any
doubts of this just read this excerpt from
the intro:
"I
don't want the Backstreet Boys in my
X'mas stocking!" trills opera-type
songstress CHARLOTTE CHURCH! Saucy miss!
And what's this about snogging Taylor
Hanson under the mistletoe? STELLA THNG
gets jolly with the sparkly young imp
who reveals more outrageous X'mas
shenanigans!
Click
Here to read the rest.
Ok,
now that you are awake:) I am going to
present the next two features in the Holiday
Tour 2000 Series. The first is
Charlotte's appearance on Lifetime
Live the 6th of December. This wasn't
a well announced appearance so its likely
that many of you didn't get a chance to
see it. We've got pictures as well as
audio for you here. The
next is yet another stellar effort by
Simon with his coverage of Charlottes 6th
of December appearance on ITV's
"This Morning" with Richard and
Judy. This was a really cool
appearance in many ways as you'll see.
Simon was good enough to transcribe the
entire dialogue so you wouldn't miss a
thing. Read all about this fab appearance here. I
hope you all got to see the Charlotte
webcasts from Oxford Street. Remember you
can always see them through the links in
our Oxford
Street Coverage page. I've
added some items to the news
page that you might have missed and
I'll be adding some stories as the day
progresses including some ticketing info
for Two of the Spring concerts that have
been confirmed. As
I write this, Charlotte is supposed to be
on GMTV Alistair Stewart so lets hope this
worked out. You wont hear from me until
Tuesday so if your looking for a place
with really enthuiastic fans or have a
quick little question I suggest you try
our very
active forums. Have an enjoyable
Sunday and as always peace be with you,
- Mark

Watch Charlotte Webcasts [Oxford Street Lighting|Interview]
Hello Charlotte Fans, I'm
sneaking this update in because we
continue to set new record visitor counts
and I figure you all want some new stuff
to look at. First
up please check out the News
Page for info on Charlotte Webcasts
TODAY at VirtueTV. Also on the news
page is some misc info including a
story about a very special concert at
Carnegie Hall the 19th of January. For
today we have two good features for you to
look at. First up is the long awaited
coverage from Charlotte's
appearance at London's Oxford Street
to turn on the holiday lights. This great
little article comes to us from Mark in
the UK who has been a loyal visitor of
this site as well as a big time fan of
Charlotte. Great work indeed so
check it out. Our
other feature is the coverage from the
Billy Gilman Special shown on TNN Tuesday
Night the 5th of December. I really
liked this special a lot and I thought
that Billy, Charlotte and the rest of the
cast did an excellent job with the
presentation. If you missed this don't
fear! It will be shown the 13th of
December on TNN yet again. Today
you'll want to watch out for Charlotte on
Oprah @ 4:00 PM. It looks to be a repeat
of the show called
"Oprah's Favorite Things". That
is it for today, I'm still up to my neck
in exams but you'll probably see some new
stuff on Friday Night or Saturday. Next
week I'll finally be off starting
Wednesday for holiday break so I'm looking
forward to that. Thanks for visiting
and remember to visit
the forums. Peace be with you, - Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, first
off let me thank the hundreds of new
visitors we have been receiving due to the
PBS broadcast for visiting, I hope you
enjoy the site. Today we have our review
of "Dream
a Dream , Charlotte Church in The Holy
Land" for your enjoyment. I
sincerely hope this
convinces you to buy this excellent
video. I'll be trying to wrap up all
our CC in the Holy Land coverage in one
feature but for now consider the
review to be the final feature in this
series. I've
continued to add some news articles to the
news page so don't
miss those. I've also added some TV
appearances as you'll notice above
including one for Sweden thanks to Bob of
Team Sweden. Tonight North American
viewers will be able to catch Charlotte on
TNN's Billy Gilman Special @ 8:00 PM. As
for me, I'm going to be gone until Friday!
I have Final Exams the rest of the week
and I'll only be around to answer the
occasional e-mail or fix problems around
the site. I will be fully done with this
semester on the 11th but I have some
important exams this week. We've updated
nearly 5 days in a row so I doubt there is
a lack of stuff to look at :) If you
do get bored I suggest joining our
massively growing Forums,
lots of cool people there and there is
always something being talked about. Have
fun and peace be with you, - Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans,
today I have the long awaited Live
with Regis feature ready for you to
view. It includes the entire portion
of the show with Charlotte on it in
streaming video so you didn't miss a
thing. We also have a large amount
of still captures you as well. All of this
can be
found here. I
hope one or two of you got to catch Blue
Peter in the UK, if you did how about e-mailing
me and letting me know how it went. Today,
I have also rotated the news
page into December and added several
news stories so you won't want to miss
those. I guess the biggest bit of news is
that slowly but surely info for the Spring
2001 tour is coming out. So far we have
heard through announcements made on PBS
stations that she will have concerts in
Charlotte, North Carolina and my hometown
of West Palm Beach, Florida the 8th and
11th of March respectively. I can't say
these are 100% solid naturally until
tickets go on sale but so far it looks
like the best place to hear about a
possible concert in your area is during
the PBS broadcast of CC in the Holy Land
which is going on this week in most areas. Speaking
of CC in the Holy Land, I got the review
courtesy of Jason going up tomorrow.
Hopefully that convinces people to buy the
DVD or the VHS if they haven't already.
Personally, I got the video last week and
I thought it was fantastic. That's
it for today, remember to check
the forums for the latest! Peace be
with you,- Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans,
yesterday I said we'd have Live with
Regis coverage but today I am asking
for you to wait one more day. We just got
the video yesterday so by waiting just one
more day you'll get to see the entire
performance on video so you don't miss a
bit. Sound good? I hope so! Today
we have quite a lot for you to take a look
at on your Sunday. First up since
its the beginning of a new week we have
all new Features
of the Week. The best in this section
this week is this all
new interview with Charlotte that was
completed this weekend. Next
up we have a feature I have been waiting
for myself, its our complete coverage from
"Open
House with Gloria Hunniford"!
Believe me there is one of our most
interesting and entertaining features
ever. Yet again this one was put together
by Simon of our UK sister site CharlotteChurch.F9.co.uk.
Simon had an excellent time at this event
and even got to meet Charlotte! All is
described in this vast
and informative feature. I've
also posted another addition to our Literary
Gallery, this one comes from JDB and
is entitled Baby's
Breath. Tomorrow
we will have the following if all goes
well: 1. Live with Regis Coverage 2. CC in
the Holy Land DVD Review 3. "The
List" in addition to these I will be
updating the news and the digest sections
to reflect the new month. While your
waiting for those keep an eye out on your
local PBS station for Christmas Glory and
CC in the Holy Land! It's also not a bad
idea to stop by the
Forums and see what others are saying
as well. Before
I go though I have something to mention
that I SHOULD have yesterday. On December
2nd, 1998 the first Charlotte site on the
Internet was launched by our Co-Founder
Adam. Yesterday, as you can figure out,
marked the 2nd anniversary of this
milestone. Below is a pic of that original
site which joined CharlotteChurch.net
in April of 2000.
I
can't stress how important that site was
to the creation of this one, I send out my
congrats to Adam for sticking in there so
long, his work paved the way for the rest!
That is it for today, remember to check
those items out tomorrow. Enjoy your
weekend and peace be with you,
- Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans,
it's 3:00 AM Saturday morning and right
now it appears as if Charlotte will NOT be
on The Saturday Early Show, this info
comes from attendees of the taping
yesterday in New York. You can watch if
you like naturally but the chances of her
being on look slim to none at this point.
She will be on either the 16th or the 23rd
so wait until we can confirm this. I
also realise there was a bit of confusion
about Regis. As you all know now, it was
shown on the 30th but TV Guide published
that it would be on the 1st. You can
imagine the situation we were put in by
this, frankly some dates on the site
showed the 1st while others showed the
30th. Please remember that we didn't have
accurate info and when you can trust TV
Guide you know something just isn't right.
I suggest you write TV Guide or the
producers of Live with Regis to demand
a video of the show, they mislead
the public and we knew about as much as
you did on this one. Never fear
though...we have full coverage coming
later tonight. If you can't wait
that long here are 4 teasers:
To
show you how much of a bind we are in, Joe
didn't get to tape this so that's why the
feature has been held off. We will be
obtaining the video shortly to broadcast
here but that might take one more day at
least. I hope you enjoied our Later
presentation. If all goes well Regis
will look very similar to that. Sound
good? Again I'm very sorry but we were in
the dark as much as you. The only people
to blame for this are TV Guide and the
Live with Regis production. Before
you go I have a new magazine shot from you
courtesy of Dave who has been hunting down
Charlotte's latest mag apperances for us.
This one comes from Teen
Beat. Looks really great so be sure to
check it out. That
is it for now, as I said I will be working
on the site during the day, I also will
get back to your e-mails as soon as
possible. A lot of you wrote so it's only
a matter of time. Remember that you can
usually find the latest out on the
Forums as the fans there tend to post
RIGHT after something happens. Peace be
with you, - Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans,
welcome to December! The months have been
flying by and in 20 more days it will mark
the one year anniversary
of the original site. Much more on that
later though! As you might have seen
yesterday if you were in North America,
Charlotte gave two outstanding appearances
on TV The
first was Charlotte's second appearance on
NBC's Later with Cynthia Garett. For
those of you who don't know, Later is
shown after Conan O'Brien so it is on very
late, thus the name :) Today we have full
coverage of this event complete with a
summary, pictures and a 21 minute
streaming video. This video is the entire
appearance so you won't miss a thing.
Check out the full
coverage here. The
second was Charlotte's appearance on Live
with Regis! Due to some video problems we
won't have this for you today but you can
look for it to be on tomorrow. If
you live in the North America you might
want to note that Charlotte will be on The
Saturday Early Show tomorrow as shown in
the TV Listings. This is being taped today
and it should be another great appearance. That
is really all for today, check
out later, see the Nov
News clips for one more time and if
you are still in a talkative mood come visit
our forums. We have TONS of stuff
coming from the UK this weekend so stay
tuned for that, you won't want to miss it!
Peace be with you,- Mark
