Hello
Charlotte Fans, welcome to a new week. Today we have
quite a bit to present to you so I'll get right to
it.
First up we have
the new Media
Features of The Week. Both of them are related
to Charlotte's trip to LA last week and her
appearance at the premier of "The Wedding
Planner" In the
Interview Charlotte talks about her vision of
the perfect film role and cast to be a part of.
After that you'll
want to stop by the
2001 Concert Preview especially if you live in
California as we have added information for the two
Hollywood Bowl Concerts in July for you to use in
your purchasing considerations.
Next up, it's been
one of the most requested items at the site...The
Full Lyrics to "Dream a Dream", they are
finally complete and can be accessed at our Lyrics
Site. While there feel free to browse our newly
renovated Discography
Section.
Next, Mark of Team
UK has sent us the
UK Dream a Dream advert and we have made it
available for download as a
high quality MPEG. The production quality on this
advert is quite excellent, so I'm sure many of you
will be interested in downloading
it.
Finally, I know
it's almost a month since the holiday's ended but
we've just recieved the missing pieces to the
Holiday Feature and are ready to display them today.
The first is a very small sampler of the
events in Vienna, Austria at the Placido Domingo
Societies annual concert "Christmas in
Vienna" which Charlotte performed at.
Thanks goes to Dave of Team USA for getting those
materials together. The second piece is a
collaborative effort from Simon and Dave of Team UK
and our UK Sister Site. It's a complete review of Charlotte's
performance on GMTV Christmas Day. This show had
stunning visuals as always and a informative
interview. Like most of our features from the UK you
won't want to miss this
one. Again thanks goes to Team UK'ers Simon and
Dave.
That will do it
for today...still to come this week is a great
retrospective feature with TV programmes from
Charlotte's early days thanks to Mark of Team UK.
After looking it over thoroughly I know you wont
want to miss that so stay tuned. Also as promised we
have a piece put together by our new Netherlands
Sister Site. See you soon and as always peace be
with you,
-

Hello
Charlotte Fans, first off I want to wish you a happy
Friday after a long week. You've probably been
wondering where the updates were all week but I'm
pleased to say that after 3 days of installation I
finally am in the 21st century with a dedicated high
speed connection at home. While we were suspended
there was plenty going on (especially in California)
as you probably noticed up top.
Take a look at the
news page for more info on that appearance at the
premiere of "The Wedding Planner" and also
if you live in California be especially mindful of
those two new
concert dates that were announced for the Hollywood
Bowl. It's been a while since Charlotte did a
public concert in California so you won't want to
miss these. On the 2001
Concert Preview page we've got all the ordering
info you need to purchase these. Even though this
event isn't until July it does make sense to at
least check out your options before hand.
Next up we've got an
interesting set of pics from Japan taken by Sony
Japan during Charlotte's past trips there. These
aren't the newest pics but most of them haven't been
seen around the world before so take
a look.
Finally today, we
are announcing a new site called CharlotteChurchFans
| Cymru in response to our partnership with the
Noah's Ark Appeal. The goal of this appeal is to
build a Children's Hospital for Wales and Charlotte
is a big supporter of this effort. On CharlotteChurchFans
| Cymru you can access all our Welsh specific
features as well as learn how you can help support
Noah's Ark as well and help make the future of Wales
that much brighter.
That's it for
today, we've got our first feature from Team
Netherlands and a special look back at one of the
best appearances on UK TV for the weekend so stay
tuned. Peace be with you,
- Mark |

Hello
Charlotte Fans, I hope you had a great weekend and
enjoyed the coverage of Charlotte's visits to Washington
D.C. on the 18th and New
York most recently on Friday night, the 19th. If
you haven't read those yet please do take a look.
Today we have updated both of those features with some
more additions to the press coverage of each
respective event. Since those
both were big events they are also taking the spots in
the Features of the
Week as well.
New
in the Literary Gallery
today is a contribution from long time visitor and
contributor Kenneth Shockley entitled "For
Louise Ryan". If you haven't seen any of
Kenny's work or that from our other gracious
contributors do take some time out to see the Literary
Gallery.
The
big news today is that we have finally completed
expansion into the Netherlands with the launch of CharlotteChurchFans.nl,
our Netherlands affiliate run by Mark and Job from
Team Netherlands. Mark and Job have worked hard
to make this a reality and I'm really happy to see how
things turned out. We'll be having a special import
feature from Team Netherlands sometime this week so
stay tuned to that as well as future articles from our
Team Netherlands site.
Finally,
just in case you forgot...yesterday was the 21st
January making it only one month to go until Charlotte
turns 15 and we turn 1! That's it for today, this
looks to be a quiet week and we'll mostly focus on
filling in the gaps of our holiday coverage during the
next few days but you can be sure if anything comes up
we'll bring it to you. Thanks for visiting and peace
be with you, - Mark |

Hello
Charlotte Fans, tonight is a big night for Charlotte
as she will perform at Carnegie
Hall in New York, New York as part of the Wyclef
Jean's Benefit Concert. Although that is a very
exciting event for Charlotte we must also cover the
event that took place yesterday evening which was
actually only 7 hours ago as I write this.
If
you've been following the site lately you'll know
that Charlotte was picked to be part of the US
Presidential Inaugural Opening Celebration held in
the U.S. Capital of Washington D.C. Yesterday
she finally took the stage at the event and in the
process gave the audience and indeed her fans around
the world a new sampling of her voice to listen to.
She sang "Take Care of this House" a 1976
song written for the U.S. Bicentennial by Leonard
Bernstein and Alan J. Lerner. Needless to say, she
pulled it off flawlessly.
As
part of our special
coverage and as a treat to our viewers we have the
entire song available for download. Inside the
coverage to this event you'll also find some screen
caps as well as a list of the other things that took
place during this elaborate ceremony that happens
only once every four years. After you have a listen
be sure to stop by the
forums to discuss what you thought of "Take
Care of this House".
That's
it for now, our focus shifts over to New York now as
we await coverage from Carnegie Hall, this should be a
fun event for Charlotte and we look forward to
bringing you all the highlights. Peace be with you,
- Mark |

Hello
Charlotte Fans, as promised we have belated coverage
from Charlotte's
Appearance on The Frank Skinner Show as well as
some other important info to pass along to you.
First
up a big thanks goes out to Mark of Team UK for
getting us this feature covering
the Frank Skinner appearance. I know many in the
UK didn't get a chance to catch it back in November
and as far as I know only a few of you have seen it
in the USA from friends that may have taped it for
you. Mark got around 80 captures for your enjoyment
along with a very unique sound clip of Charlotte
singing "Singing in the Rain" along with
Frank Skinner and Tracy Ulman. Yes its about 2
months delayed but its always better late than
never. Thanks again to Mark for getting this all
together.
Next
up is a special announcement for anyone thinking of
attending the
March 8, 2001 concert in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A viewer of the site has had a change in her plans
and thus needs to sell tickets to this event. There
are two tickets in row H seats 10 and 11. They are
in the Orchestra level and cost $166.50 for both. If
you are interested in purchasing these tickets
PLEASE let me know as soon as possible and I will
get you matched up with our seller.
The
week ahead looks to be a busy one as we have
Charlotte performing in two major US cities. On
Thursday the 18th of January, Charlotte as we
reported earlier will be singing at the opening of
the Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies in Washington
D.C. This begins at 3:00 PM EST so stay tuned to
CSPAN for the best coverage; CNN and MSNBC will do
but CSPAN usually covers events in their entirety.
On Friday the 19th of January, Charlotte will give
her opening performance of this 2001 concert season
at Carnegie Hall
in New York City. As we have mentioned in our
previews this concert will be quite exciting as
Charlotte will be on stage with other star
performers such as Wyclef Jean, Destiny's Child and
Whitney Houston to name a few. This will surely be
shown on weekend entertainment reports so be sure to
tune into shows like Entertainment Tonight, Extra,
Access Hollywood and Showbiz Today both Friday night
and Saturday Night to catch some clips from this
star studded appearance. As for us, we plan to
cover both events to the best of our ability so stay
tuned.
As
I write this the Lyrics for dream a dream are 75%
finished so its likely they will go online tomorrow.
Our next update will be after the ceremonies on
Thursday so we'll see you then. Remember if its late
breaking news..you'll find it in the
Forums. Peace be with you. - Mark |

Hello Charlotte
Fans, I hope you all
had a great weekend. Best wishes to all USA viewers
on this MLK Day . This is going to be a small update
yet again but I promise tomorrows will be quite
large. Basically I'm here to direct you to our new
features of the week and remind you about the big
event on Thursday that I mentioned in the last
update which you can read about in the News
Page.
On to the Features
of the Week....this week the two are very much
related. Both come from the current issue of OK!
Magazine featuring Charlotte and her custom designed
Teddy Bear "Devilish Angel". You can see
pics and info about the two at the Features
of the Week Site. Thanks goes out to Dave for
his quick work on this!
Tomorrow we have
the full Discography for
dream a dream ready to go along with a very nice
feature by Mark of Team UK capturing the Frank
Skinner Episode that we missed last year. It's going
to have a very unique audio clip so you wont want to
miss that!
See you tomorrow,
as always remember to visit the
forums. Peace be with you,
- Mark |

Hello Charlotte
Fans, this is just a quick update to let you know of
some breaking news that occurred just a few hours
ago since this is early morning Saturday. As always
the latest is on our news page
but since it's rather important I'll mention it
here: Charlotte has been scheduled to sing at the
Inaugural Ceremonies for the President of the United
States on the 18th of January. Please note that the
actual swearing in of the President doesn't occur to
the 20th but this event is important nevertheless
because it officially opens the ceremonies. Needless
to say this is a great honour for Charlotte and
we're looking forward to watching this on CSPAN and
the various other networks that will carry this
live. I don't expect the full thing to be shown on
networks such as CNN or MSNBC but CSPAN should carry
it in its entirety. The show begins at 3:30 PM 18
January 2001 so keep a lookout if you don't intend
to be coming back here in the next few days, if you
are a daily visitor no need to worry as we will
remind you daily until the event airs. All
international viewers will be able to watch our
coverage of the event after it is shown, on this
site. Again check the news page
for the latest!
Tomorrow we'll
have the complete discography/lyrics set for Dream a
Dream to round out or archives along with with the
new features of the week.
Thanks for
visiting and peace be with you,
- Mark |

Hello Charlotte
Fans, I'm here today with the biggest update of the
year as we continue to wrap up all the stuff we
never got to last month as well as introduce some
new items.
First up, I very
much hope you took a peek at the Charlotte
2001 Concert Preview that we put up Wednesday as
it has very important info and links that anyone who
is even remotely considering attending one of these
events needs to know. I need to send a big
thanks out to the folks at the Houston
Symphony Orchestra namely Lydia and Art who have
been more than helpful at helping us sort out the
situation in Houston so we could give you the most
accurate and useful ticketing info. I have to say
that if you can attend only one concert this year
attend the one in Houston as it looks to be the most
exciting and well organised of the bunch. Again all
the info you need to order tickets for New York,
Dublin, Charlotte , Palm Beach and Houston can be
found in our 2001
Concert Preview.
Next I have a load
of magazines and
newspapers that never quite got out last month
and are now available for viewing:
House
Beautiful Magazine with Charlotte and Maria Church
in their kitchen (January 2001) Thanks to Mark and
Karen!
(Special thanks to Karen for finding this mag)
South
Wales Echo (December 26, 2000) "Charlotte's
Christmas Treat for Church" Thanks to Dave!
South Wales Echo
(December 14, 2000) "Charlotte is Calendar
Girl" Thanks to Dave!
South Wales Echo
(December 14, 2000) "Happy Christmas Mr.
President" Thanks to Dave!
South Wales Echo
(December 14, 2000) "Charlotte Celebrates
Christmas #1 in US" Thanks to Dave!
Lots of cool
stuff in the above so be sure to check them
out..another great item we've never shown to you
before was the
UK advert for Dream a Dream and thanks to Mark
of Team UK we were able to bring you some shots and
an outline of the advert. I've added it to our Holiday
Tour 2000 special and you can view
the entire feature here.
Next, be sure
to check the News Page for all
the latest additions...today we added a
nice little profile on Louise Ryan who is of
course Charlotte's wonderful voice instructor. This
is a great piece so be sure to check it out. Thanks
goes to South Wales Echo for that as well.
If that wasn't
enough for you John is back with a
new downloadable racer for Sports Car GT. It's a
Reynard and it's sporting a CC in Japan livery. Be
sure to take a look.
Allrighty, I
hope that makes up for the downtime we have had in
the past few days, as always be sure to stop by in
the Forums, they
have been really busy lately and I expect them to be
buzzing today after this update as well. I'll see
you this weekend if not before, peace be with you, -
Mark

Hello Charlotte
Fans, I hope your first weekend of the New Year has
been a good one. As you probably saw on site
Charlotte did have a big engagement on Wednesday
when she opened Harrods department store in
London. Thanks to the great work of UK Agent Mark I
am pleased to announce that we have our final
version of complete
coverage from Harrods available for you today.
We covered most of the angles in the
feature but to show you just how big this event
was for Charlotte they were mentioning her on local
TV news shows around the USA for an event that took
place in the UK.
Today begins a new week so that
means a new set of features
of the week. This week we have a sample
TV capture from the Harrods Coverage as our
photo of the week and
a great interview from Hip Online as our media
feature for the week. This interview took place in
mid December but we've had such a backlog that it's
only showing up now. Nevertheless its a great little
piece to look at.
Things SHOULD be a little quiet
as far as news is concerned until the 19th of
January when Charlotte performs in New York. (See
news page for ticket info) Speaking of concerts
we're doing our best to pin down as many dates as
possible so look for a complete guide later on in
the week. For now use the concert info provided on
the News Page to plan.
That's it for today..I'm off to
University tomorrow so it's goodbye to this four
week holiday I had. We covered over 26 appearances
and created around 90MB of new content for you so I
hope it was enjoyed by all. Thank you for
visiting! Peace be with you,
- Mark |

Hello Charlotte
Fans, welcome to 2001, I knew we shouldn't
have waited a year in-between updates...it leaves so
much for everyone to catch up with. Seriously
though, I hope you all enjoyed your holiday's and
had fun at the same time. University doesn't start
up again for another week so I'm enjoying my time
off greatly.
Today I want to
just mention some news, show you to the updated
features of the week and tell you about some things
we are working on for the coming week or two. First
off, we are now in January 2001 so I have redone the
news page for this month. On
that page you will find quite a lot already
including a brief summary of concert and ticketing
info so far and a little bit on Charlotte's opening
of Harrod's Department Stores today in London. Again
all that can be found on the News
Page.
I hope North
American viewers got to catch the repeat of the October
30th appearance on Jay Leno but Canadian
viewers will be even luckier as you might have seen
above..that's because they will get to see the Dream
a Dream music video on Friday 5 January 2001 on
"Bravo Video" @ 7:00 PM. If you live in
Canada you don't want to miss this little clip.
Today we also have
the new Features
of the Week. The
photo of the week is one that has never been
seen on the internet before..it comes from Paris
Match Magazine of 1999 thanks to Dave. The media
feature of the week is from last month but its
an interview with Charlotte from the San Francisco
Chronicle.
Finally, for those
of you that couldn't get enough of OK! Magazine I
have added Simon's
full feature that has the text in a much more
readable format for you with the pics in the
layout as they appear in the magazine. This week
looks to be a little slow but we are doing quite a
bit of planning work behind the scenes for the
coming months..also many of you are interested in
those final holiday
appearances we still have to add: Songs of
Praise, Christmas in Vienna and GMTV 12/25. We are
working on these and will have them within the next
two weeks if all goes well. Be sure to stop by the
Forums to meet some really cool people when you
have a chance. That's all for today, peace be with
you, - Mark |
