Hello
Charlotte Fans, I guess it is Canada day here as we
have news on Charlotte's return to Canada specifically
Ontario for two concert engagements at two of the most
visually stunning venues I've seen. April
1st sees Charlotte in Toronto while April
3rd sees her in Ottawa. Full ticket, venue and
concert information can be found in our Charlotte
in Concert 2001 Feature.
In the last update we announced the latest engagement
in the the USA which will be in Providence, Rhod
Islsand on April 14. Again the Charlotte
in Concert 2001 Feature has all that info as well.
I hear tickets are selling rapidly for Providence so
you'll want to get a move on those.
Also
added today are some
photos from Charlotte's last trip to Toronto, Ontario
added to our Charlotte
Live in Toronto Feature. Thanks to Sony Music
Canada for these.
If
that wasn't enough Canadian info for you we've got a
Television date to look out for thanks to Jason of
Team Canada. It's the replay of last years Brit
Awards!
Thursday
3/8/01
8:00pm Ch.6 CBLN (Ontario PBS) Opening Night -
Classical Brit Awards
Description: Highlights from Britain's inaugural
awards ceremony with
performances by Nigel Kennedy and Charlotte Church.
Finally,
from what I have been hearing, many of you have had
success in finding your PBS schedule for the broadcast
of Charlotte Church in Jerusalem, if not I again
suggest this
thread in the forums or if that doesn't work we
will try to tie all the info together for a feature on
Thursday. Thanks for visiting, -
Mark

Hello
Charlotte Fans, this is a really quick update to
mainly make New England residents aware that
Charlotte is headed to your area, specifically
Providence, Rhode Island for a concert on April 14.
Tickets go on sale today so visit our Ticketing
Info page for the fastest links to the tickets
you want. Quantities are limited for this event so
it makes sense to purchase as soon as possible. If
any of you are planning to attend this concert we'd
love to hear from you.
Next
up, Mark sent us some new captures from the
BBC's recap of the Grammy Awards which just
happened to feature a really quick chat with
Charlotte on the Red Carpet. These pics round off
our Grammy
Coverage for this year which was actually a lot
more extensive than we ever could have hoped for
when we first heard Charlotte would be attending.
Finally,
I know a lot of you are interested about the PBS
Broadcast of Charlotte Church in Jerusalem so please
check the News page for a
really good link for more info or if you are looking
for the latest schedules visit
our forums where members such as VAFan have been
compiling lists for the larger markets out there. If
you're having trouble finding your schedule give this
thread a shot. That's it for today..we'll try to
get a better handle on the entire PBS broadcast
situation and give you a more accurate schedule of
events this week. Thanks, - Mark |

Hello
Charlotte Fans, as you probably have seen it's been
quite an interesting 24 hours for Charlotte as it
looks like she had a great time making a splash at
the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards. We've still got some
shows to watch for more captures but as of now I
think this our
feature coverage of the Grammy awards, at least
Charlotte's perspective is pretty complete. If you
looked at it yesterday take another look again
because we've added captures
and the Interview from E! TV as well as some from
Live with Regis and Kelly.
Also,
I hope the Grammy talk doesn't overshadow that Charlotte
had her 15th birthday on Wednesday. We're still
taking submissions to the
Birthday Guestbook so head on over there and
write Charlotte a message. Naturally while you're
there check out our birthday
celebration as well.
Next,
we've added some news on the
broadcast of Charlotte
Church in Jerusalem on PBS. Since everyone will
be interested in this we'll put together some kind
of schedule guide for all of you. In the meantime
you be good to look up your local PBS station for
it's schedule in March to see when it will be
broadcast in your area.
Finally
we've added some news to CharlotteChurchFans
| Cymru about yet another benefit event for the
Children' Hospital.
I
think there will be more to come this weekend in
terms of news so check back then and enjoy your
Friday. Thanks for visiting, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, today is a landmark day for
Charlotte fans around the world as we wish Charlotte
her 15th birthday and we celebrate our first. Yes,
that's right it's been one year already! It's
incredibly hard to express just how much has
happened this year but we tried to put as much of it
down as possible in our special
birthday/anniversary micro site. There is a lot
of cool things to do there but by far the coolest is
the video Joe has produced to mark the occasion.
During the video we try to explain just exactly what
the past year has meant to both Charlotte's career
and this site. Also while you are at the birthday
site be sure to sign the Birthday
Guestbook for Charlotte, lets see how many fans
we can get in there during the next few days to wish
her a Happy Birthday. Charlotte
is now in Los Angeles preparing for her appearance
at tonight's Grammy Awards! So be sure to watch for
her tonight 8:00 PM on CBS in the USA.
Before
I say some closing reflections let me also say that
we have updated the Features
of the Week with a photo of Charlotte in People
Magazine thanks to Brian and a new story from South
Wales Echo. In addition to that we have updated
the information in our Charlotte's
Spring Releases thanks in great part to the help
of TimeWarner. Also there is big news regarding the
audio book because we were able to confirm that
Charlotte will indeed be reading it. Much more to
come on this story in the coming weeks.
If
you're looking to celebrate Charlotte's birthday on
all the continents visit our affiliates from the
menu up top. Our UK, Brazil and Netherlands
sites have already reported back that they are ready
for their presentations and I'm sure the others will
be sometime today as well.
Allrighty,
that does it for updates today. Before I go let me
just say a few words of thanks to you our readers
for all you have done for us over the past year.
Your support has allowed us to truly create a world
class site and it is you that make all the work
worthwhile. I echo the entire team when I say that
we look forward to serving you next year and you can
be sure we will be celebrating Charlotte's 16th
birthday next year at this time. I hope you have
enjoyed the site and I know some of you have been
with us since the beginning so I really want to
thank you for hanging in there through the ups and
downs. I also want to thank the staff of the site
for their great work and devotion throughout the
year. It's hard to get so many people to work
together but it's a real miracle to watch what
happens when they do. Finally and most importantly
Happy Birthday to Charlotte! Best wishes and may all
your dreams come true. Thanks for your support
and here's to another great year,-

Hello
Charlotte Fans, happy
Friday to you. This is going to be a real short post
but I wanted to direct your attention to our new
buying guide to Charlotte's
Spring Releases up at the top. Inside you'll
find basically all we know about the upcoming
releases and where you can buy them. If you keep
tabs on the News Page, you'll
notice that we got word of a NEW video this week and
we've included all the purchasing info inside
of this guide.
In addition to
this we've finalised the information for the
Minneapolis Concert thanks to some work by Ron. All
the latest can be found here.
Check out the last
update if you haven't been here in a while to see
the latest additions.
Finally, next week
is the big week. We got Charlotte's 15th birthday
and our 1st Birthday. We're going to try and do some
really cool things so be sure to check the site on

Hello
Charlotte Fans, we've got a lot of additions for you
this week before Charlotte's 15th Birthday so lets
get right to them.
First up,
Charlotte had a surprise
appearance on ITV in the UK on Saturday Night.
The programme was "An Audience with Ricky
Martin" which is part of the "An Audience
with...." Series. Anyways, Mark of Team UK was
right on the ball as usual and managed to grab a
whole set of captures for us. These
are quite unique as Charlotte is seen enjoying
herself away from the obvious attention of being the
star of the show. Charlotte also shows off some
dance moves she might try when she eventually gets
her POP album released :)
Next up we've got
a Magazine Contribution from the UK thanks to Mark.
This one is from NOW magazine with the title
"Charlotte Church's Passions". It's an
interesting little read..check it out here.
Now that we've
gotten through the stuff you'll want to check out
first lets talk a bit about some of the recent news.
If you check the news page
you'll see that Charlotte is set to perform in Minneapolis,
Minnesota on May 5, 2001. We don't have all
the particulars just yet but once we do you can be
sure they will be added to the 2001
Concert Preview Article. Also in the news is the
semi-final nomination of "Dream a Dream"
for two awards. Check the News Page for details
including a link to cast your vote for "Dream a
Dream".
Next, I know a lot
of you have been asking us about Sheet Music for
Charlotte's various albums...today, thanks to the
help of Laurie of Team Canada, we've put up a Sheet
Music Guide of sorts to help you get hooked up
with the sheet music offerings that are available
for purchase. While I'm on the subject of music I'd
like to thank AZLyrics.com
for making us their primary source of Charlotte
Church Lyrics. Be sure to visit their
site if you're ever looking for lyrics its as
simple as that!
Finally, be sure
to check out the Features of the Week, I've kept the
GetMusic Video
interviews up for this week as well because they
really are worth a look. In short, check
them out if you haven't already.
I think that is it
for now, catch you later in the week. Peace be with
you,
- Mark |

Hello
Charlotte Fans, it's
been a week since we last spoke but things will
start returning back to normal here after the
lengthy absence. First thing to mention is the
obvious concert that Charlotte performed at last
Friday the 2nd of February, in Dublin, Ireland.
We've posted a
small summary thanks to the work of Larry and
Simon of Team UK who did a great Job covering this
while we couldn't.
Next up is the Features
of the Week which were uploaded on Tuesday.
Inside you'll find a great
set of three video interviews that Charlotte did
with GetMusic during her last promotional tour.
The entire series lasts about 30 minutes in total so
you'll want to set some time aside to watch all
three. Thanks to MusicDude on the
Forums for pointing these out to us.
Next we got
another addition to the Magazine Photos thanks to
Larry of Team UK. This set is from OK!
Magazine February 6th 2001. The photos are from
"The Wedding Planner" Premier which
Charlotte attended last month while she was in California.
Finally, I want to
tell you that we've been constantly improving CharlotteChurchFans
| Cymru by adding the latest information on the
Noah's Ark Appeal. Yesterday we added loads of info
including a new cook book you can purchase with
Charlotte on the cover that's only £1($1.46) with
all profits going towards the appeal. In short take
a peek at the site
if you haven't already..at the very least you'll
learn a great deal about one of the charities with
Charlotte is a ardent supporter of.
That's it for now,
we're doing lots of prep work for our 1st and
Charlotte's 15th Birthday on the 21st so it will be
interesting to see how this all turns out. For the
weekend I want to do a little preview on Charlotte's
upcoming biography so look for that sometime in the
next few days. Talk to you soon and peace be with
you,
- Mark |

Hello
Charlotte Fans, welcome to February, which is also,
believe it or not, our 12th month of
operation. As you probably noticed up top we have
added as promised a feature covering three
of Charlotte's early TV appearances in the UK.
Many of you probably haven't seen these or if you
have it's probably been a long time since you last
did. Thanks goes to Mark of Team UK for finding
these lying around in his video collection.
Mark has captured and summarised all three
of these appearances for your enjoyment so be
sure to check
them out.
In between digging
up
those TV appearances Mark also sent us in the latest
magazine clippings from the UK. Below is the list of
additions uploaded today:
Pictures
from Heat Magazine "The 20 Richest Pop
Stars" (February 3-9, 2001)
Pictures from Star
Magazine "Harrods Opening" (January 28 -
February 13, 2001)
Pictures from OK
Magazine "Charlotte & G.W. Bush"
(February 2, 2001)
Pictures from OK
Magazine "Official Top 100 Showbiz
Earners" (February 2, 2001)
We have also made
various corrections and changes to the newly
uploaded "Dream a
Dream" Lyrics to be sure to revisit those
if you had found a problem earlier.
Tomorrow Charlotte
is to perform at The
Point in Dublin, Ireland so we'll try to get you
the latest from the event as soon as we can find it.
If you get the Oxygen Network be sure to tune in on
the 5th of February at 8:00 PM for
"Exhale" as Charlotte is scheduled to
appear on that.
I think that
covers the rest of the week pretty well. I will be
leaving for a trip tomorrow and will not get back
until Monday but there will always be someone here
to post if something new should come up. I will not
be able to take any messages until Monday so if it's
absolutely important please contact Dave
and they will try to sort things out. As usual
you'll probably find the latest news in the
Fourms as it gets posted there first.
Thanks for visiting and I'll see you on Tuesday.
Peace be with you, - Mark |
