Hello Charlotte Fans, tonight Charlotte will be returning to her concert tour with a stop in Boston, Massachusetts, this follows a two week Book Tour which you've hopefully by now had at least a good glimpse of. Yesterday we added the final stop in the book tour: Arlington, Virginia. If you saw the pics last night be sure to visit the Arlington page again as VA has written up a superlative summary to go along with those great shots he posted. There is still more to come from all the tour stops so stay tuned to the Autobiography site for upcoming additions. Also, can't forget about the Book Giveaway, if you haven't registered you still have plenty of time so go on over and register for a chance to win.

Charlotte also was seen on UK TV Friday the 27th. This time it was ITV's "Child Stars" which Mark of Team UK has captured, summarised and posted for your enjoyment. If you were here during the weekend you'll notice this feature was up only hours after the show aired so big thanks to UKMark for his quick work.

If you've visited the News Page, you'll notice that Charlotte has once again been nominated for a Classical BRIT award. This time the nomination is for Best Album and you can play a part in the awards process by voting for Charlotte. That's right, just visit the news page for the links and info. A Classical Brits 2001 @ CharlotteChurch.net site should be coming soon.

If you are interested in owning a rather rare piece of Charlotte memorabilia, the PACER silent auction in Minneapolis, Minnesota looks to be an exciting event. Among the events being auctioned are: a portrait of Charlotte created by Anthony R. Wheilhan, Charlotte's dress from her performance at the White House and an Autographed CD, Video and Photo. If you are interested in bidding on these items contact us here and we will forward you to Robert who will be in attendance and willing to place a bid for you. However, please note that these are very limited items so serious inquiries only please.

Finally, we have posted Jack Schorr's second short story installment to the literary gallery so be sure to stop by if you're looking for something interesting and entertaining to read. Enjoy and stay tuned for updates later in the week. - Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, Happy Easter to those who are celebrating. Today is a rather quick update to announce updated concert coverage, the one year anniversary of the Charlotte Art Gallery and finally a brief reminder to make sure you catch Charlotte tomorrow on TV if you live in North America.

First up are concert updates, New York, New York gains six incredible stage photographs courtesy of Arnie, these really demonstrate what this event was like along with the great summary from that concert. If you see nothing else today be sure to check these out. Also in the concert news we have started our coverage from Buffalo, New York Where Charlotte Performed on Thursday Night. Alanna, a new contributor has the summary from Buffalo with pics from BD coming soon.

Next, today we are celebrating the one year anniversary of the Charlotte Art Gallery. Hard to believe but it is true, this was a one off project that really developed and now it's one of our jewels here thanks to the hard work of the contributors there. To help celebrate the anniversary we have added two new lit contributions, one is a short story (our first) from Jack entitled "Enlightenment" and the other is a special anniversary poem that Kenny Shockley our most prolific contributor has put together for this even. If you have never visited the gallery this is a good time to start, if you are looking to contribute simply e-mail us and you're in.

Finally, be sure to tune in tomorrow morning, the 16th of April for Charlotte's appearance on NBC's Today Show. We'll have the full set of captures and summary for those who couldn't see it due to location or time problems sometime this week. Also this is the week Charlotte's book promotion kicks into high gear so check the Autobiography Microsite for the latest events. Have a great holiday.  - Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, today we'll be giving you a quick update of concert info and upcoming events as well as a summary of the bigger stuff we are working on for the weekend report. First up was the focus of the week and that was Charlotte's performance in New York City at the Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall. Everyone was expecting an amazing performance and that is exactly what Charlotte delivered. We have started a New York City feature at the site with a summary from one of the most vocal supporters of Charlotte in the press, the New York Post's Dan Aquilente. Some great photos from the concert are coming this weekend courtesy of Arnie so be sure to stay tuned for that.

While we are on the subject of concerts, it is important to note that last night Charlotte performed in Buffalo, New York. Not much has been reported back at the time of this writing but we'll have a feature ready this weekend so stay tuned. Also can't forget Charlotte will perform this weekend in Providence, Rhode Island so there will be plenty of things to lookout for in the next few days.

Next up, it is important to discuss next weeks busy book tour schedule. First, Charlotte will be on NBC's Today Show  Monday the 16th of April so for most of you in North America that will be a nice little surprise. For those of you that are really lucky you have the opportunity to attend one of the Book Signing events that will be held in the next two weeks. For the entire list of times and locations see the Autobiography Microsite. While you are there be sure to check the new critical acclaim and the USA Today article that came out on the 10th of April.

We'll leave you today with a special article on Charlotte from 1998 in "Classical Music" magazine, Dave found this gem for us so if you are feeling a little retrospective take a look at this, it's hard to believe how far things have come in such a short amount of time. In short, look for concert updates, articles and the one year anniversary of the Charlotte Art Gallery all this weekend at the site, it should be exciting so stay tuned.  - Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, hopefully your week is off to a good start. A lot has been posted since the last update especially since Charlotte has performed two concerts since then. First lets start off with concert updates.

We've added coverage from Ottawa thanks to Laurie and Hartford thanks to Dan. Coverage from Toronto was expanded with more photos thanks to Ron including some of the first ever with Charlotte performing along side Jesse Cook.  Finally. Montreal gains a photo scanned by Clover, from the Montreal Gazette. Look for the concert features to continue to expand as new items come in.

As you can see above, we've finally added a complete review/preview of Charlotte's newest video : "Charlotte Church in Jerusalem". Inside you'll find all the lowdown on this release as well as links to buy. Thanks to Rachel and Dave for putting this one together.

On Saturday some of you caught Charlotte's episode on "Touched By an Angel" which was repeated on the PAXTV Network in North America. Every time this is shown it seems to spark interest in the episode so we direct you to our archived review if you are looking for more.

The Magazine Archive gains two new items today from the Welsh Press thanks to Dave:

South Wales Echo "Charlie goes to Hollywood" (March 31, 2001)
South Wales Echo Weekender "Maria Church looks forward to Mother's Day" (March 24, 2001)

Finally, as you can see we've started our partnership with Borders Books and Music's Online arm Borders.com to spotlight their "Charlotte Church Voice of an Angel Sweepstakes" The Grand Prize is a trip for two to see Charlotte Church in concert in Chicago, Illinois, on May 3, 2001. The trip includes airfare from a major airport nearest the winner's home, premium hotel accommodations for two nights and transportation to and from the airport. Charlotte is performing in New York City tonight in one,  if not the most anticipated concerts of her tour this year. Once again we'll be doing our best to give you a feel for what the event was like. Continue to check the Autobiography Promo site to see if Charlotte is holding a book signing in your area. Also, the Charlotte Art Gallery will be celebrating one year of service this week as well so look for a special segment on that later in the week. Hello Charlotte Fans, last time we met we were wondering about the results from Toronto, today it is Ottawa where Charlotte performed last night for her third stop on her Canadian tour leg. We're pleased to report that the Toronto Feature is complete thanks to the work of some special first time contributors. Kelly, who is a deaf fan of Charlotte wrote the concert impressions and supplied some pictures and Mark, who is husband to Stephanie of Team Canada wrote our concert summary. It's really great to get first time contributions like this I hope we can see some more as Charlotte continues her tour. Check out their excellent work in Toronto here.

It's been a while since we mentioned it so to refresh your memories CharlotteChurch.net Cymru has extened their partnership with the Noah's Ark Appeal in Cardiff to offer direct contributions to the appeal through the 'Buy a Brick' campaign. I know some of you have already started to contribute through this and it's quite an amazing way to help build a Children's hospital in Wales as your contribution will be buying actual bricks for the building and your name will be placed in the permanent register in the Hospital Lobby upon completion. If you're looking for a way to contribute to charity while purchasing Charlotte's just-released Autobiography visit our Autobiography Microsite and click on Buy, you'll see information there on purchasing through a store that is donating a portion at Charlotte's request to Velindre Hospital in Cardiff's Cancer Appeal.

Finally, if you scroll down to the last post you'll see we added lots to the Magazine Photos section so do take a stop there to look at the latest additions. Don't forget to check the News Page for the latest events and schedules and stay tuned for the latest from Charlotte's North American tour. - Mark
