Hello Charlotte Fans,
As a lot of you already know there hasn't been much news on the Charlotte front.
Hopefully she is taking a well-deserved vacation. As the
July concerts
draw closer we should be getting more news. So hang in there.
Do you know what Charlotte's
favorite breakfast is? Well if you're
interested you can find out here. Plus we
have another fine
poem from Kenny in our Literary
Art Gallery.
In the meantime Why not visit our Noah's Ark Appeal
site. And see how you can help Charlotte build
the first Children's Hospital in Wales. When you're finished there why not stop at the
Angel Alliance
site and look at the great work Amanda is doing. The
groundbreaking ceremony took place on June 22nd. There
are a few pictures of this event here.
As always, look to the Forums for the latest discussion and continue to meet new people live in
the Chatroom.

Hello
Charlotte Fans,
Mark has signed off to go for his well deserved
vacation. Lets all wish him a safe, restful and peaceful Vacation.
As previously announced Dave Hanson will take over the site so please send all your materials and
information to dave@charlottechurch.net
There are new videos never published at the Service Center
As a reminder, the service center was created to answer questions related ONLY to published materials and information.
It is also the place to make suggestions related to our site as a big community.
Joe
Executive producer
We've received a
new shipment of press clippings from Wales,
including an article entitled "Charlotte
and Me: The Truth" written by
Charlotte's Mum Maria. She sets a lot of
things straight in this
article and gives fans something to look
forward to by mentioning a 4th album is in
the works for later this year. There's too
much to mention here so you should take a
peek at it for yourself here.
Next
up is another article from the South Wales
Echo about a story we told you about last
week. Title is "Stars
Pay Tribute to Sandra" and it's
about Charlotte attending the funeral of a
noted
Wales
cancer campaigner. Included with this is a
picture of Charlotte. See it here.
In
the last update we set forth the Summer
Concert Series 2001 preview, today we have
another update courtesy of HMV.co.uk who are
giving away tickets to Charlotte's event.
Entry couldn't be simpler, just visit the
link up top or in the Summer
Concert Series 2001 Preview page for London.
Speaking of the London Concert, our team
covering the event have been meeting all
week and so far it looks like this might be
our best feature ever. Stay tuned on
that....
Tonight,
Dave will be traveling to the groundbreaking
ceremony for the Angel Alliance's latest
project the "Anthem for Alliance
Monument" out in the Mojave Desert. If
you haven't read about this project and how
CharlotteChurch.net viewers can help
please
visit
the site
we've made in partnership with
the Angel Alliance to learn more. Angel
Alliance is a not-for profit
organization
started by Amanda Dunbar, the most
successful visual artist today. Oh yeah, she
just happened to paint
Charlotte's "Dream a Dream" album
cover also :)
Look
for Dave to have some photos of the
groundbreaking event @ The
Angel Alliance site very soon. Finally,
I shouldn't sign off today without telling
you that I'm going to be leaving for a
Summer holiday in Alberta, Canada tomorrow.
I'll be returning almost one month from now
on the 23rd of July. Until then Dave will be
handling my duties at the site so everything
that would normally be sent to me should now
be directed to dave@charlottechurch.net
. You can still send e-mails to my normal
address but they wont be answered in a
timely fashion if at all. There is lots to
look forward to in this coming month with
some amazing concerts ahead so stay tuned
for all the latest. As always, look to
the
Forums for the latest discussion and
continue to meet new people live in the
Chatroom. That's it from here, I'll see
you in a month. Dave will have an update for
you as soon as there is news to report.

Hello
Charlotte Fans, last week was quite a
quiet week as school exams are taking
place in various parts of the world.
However, we've been gearing up for a busy
summer of concert coverage with the first
step coming today in the form of the
Summer 2001 Concert Preview.
You'll
find lots of info inside as well as the
updated ticket ordering information for
each event. Be sure to click on Hyde Park
Info page even if you don't plan to attend
to see why this looks to be the most
exciting concert all year. If you are
planning to attend and would like to meet
the CharlotteChurch.net Team for an
amazing Afternoon and evening e-mail
here for info.
Some
of you had problems viewing the Heartbeat
Videos uploaded during the last update,
if that was the case be sure to check back
again as we have now included a link that
spawns an external player for those who do
not support embedded Real Media. After
several weeks of beta testing today we can
finally announce CharlotteChurch.net
| Chat. It's a great place to
interact with viewers in realtime. Since
we've been testing it for several weeks
there is already a great group of
"regulars" there already so get
in there and meet some new friends! CharlotteChurch.net
| Chat
is most active in the evenings like
most chat services so you might see
decreased volumes during the day. Look
forward to special events in the future in
the chatroom.
Make
sure to stop by
the
new Angel Alliance site if you haven't
already for a chance to own a rare piece
of Charlotte memorabilia and benefit a
great cause at the same time. Same
thing goes for CharlotteChurch.net
| Cymru. Both sites will have some
interesting additions in the coming weeks. That
is it for now, quite an interesting week
ahead as I personally will be leaving on
Friday for Alberta but more on that later.
Until then, meet fellow fans in the
Forums or the
Chat. - Mark

Hello
Charlotte Fans, we're continuing to
upgrade all around the site, the most
recent upgrade came this weekend with the
new Guestbook. As most of you know,
the guestbook is one of our most viewed
sections of the site, for good reason :)
However, it hasn't changed that much since
we launched over 17 months ago. The size
of the page was unmanageable and took
quite a while to download on dial-up
connections. With all that in mind, we've
refreshed the guestbook with a new look
and an archive to speed download times.
Since the guestbook was down for periods
of time on Friday and Saturday, you might
want to check if your post went through as
there is a possibility it got sent into
space while the guestbook was offline.
Enjoy the new format and look for more
enhancements to the
guestbook in the future. As
promised on Friday, we have Charlotte's
acting debut on the UK series Hearbeat in
streaming video format for you today.
It's divided into three parts for ease of
viewing. After watching the videos you'll
see a link to our original Heartbeat
Revisited feature where you can learn some
more particulars about the show and
Charlotte's appearance on it back in 1999. Finally,
as usual the features
of the week have been updated for the
new week. Inside you'll find the a
story about Charlotte attending the
funeral of a noted Wales cancer campaigner
published in the South Wales Echo last
week. Today the chatroom is being serviced
so look for an announcement when that is
complete. Thanks for visiting and be sure
to check out The
Forums for all the latest.

Hello Charlotte
Fans, there is quite a bit to talk
about since the last update. First up, the
News Section has
rolled over to June, over there you can learn
about a new SMS Text service that Sony
is offering to deliver Charlotte news to
your mobile phone. In addition they are
promising tone and logo downloads in the
future so if you are into making your
ordinary Mobile a Charlotte Mobile it it's
worth a peek. Also included are stories
you shouldn't miss from last month, should
you just be joining us. Next
up, we've made some interesting additions
to the Classical
BRIT Awards 2001 coverage in the form
of info about the official
album of the awards being released by
Sony Classical. It is a two disc set with
Charlotte leading off disc number one with
track number one "Dream a
Dream". In addition to album info we
have added a
high quality MPEG of the Classical BRITS
2001 Album Advert thanks to Mark of
Team UK. Charlotte is featured on the
commercial as well. If you're a fan of
Classical Music, especially the best of
this year's offerings, this album is sure
to please. Also
added since last update is the
Australian Dream a Dream Television Advert
thanks to Arakaiene of Team Australia.
It's been placed along side the UK Dream a
Dream advert to form a small collection.
Check them both out here. Summer
concerts are fast approaching, do you have
your tickets? Check out the
concert preview page for more info on
how to get yours. Make
sure to stop by the
new Angel Alliance site if you haven't
already for a chance to own a rare piece
of Charlotte memorabilia and benefit a
great cause at the same time. That
is it for today, come back this weekend
for some more video clips, this time from
Charlotte's acting debut in the UK on
Heartbeat. Until then, go meet some great
fans in the
Forums. - Mark

Hello Charlotte
Fans, it's a bit of a quiet period
to start out this month but this give us a
perfect opportunity to do some maintenance
here as well as work on some of the things
we didn't have a chance to when it was
very busy with appearances and news.
You'll see some new additions over the
next few weeks, some of which are very
interesting but first lets get to what has
been added since the last digest. First
off, we've added a rather small feature on
the
Classical BRITs 2001, small that is
compared to last year but still
informative if you want to know what took
place on Thursday night. Included in that
feature is a
story printed in Charlotte's home
newspaper the South Wales Echo. In
The
Forums, we've added a spell checking module to help in your posts. Give it a
try for yourself next time you visit.
Thanks to all who tested to make sure it
was working properly. Many of you
have been asking about the beta test Chat room,
currently it is still having problems but
we anticipate those to be fixed later in
the week and we'll most likely officially
launch the Chat room at that time. Laura in
Taiwan has contributed yet again to the Visual
Arts Gallery, check out her
latest, inspired by the video Charlotte
Church in Jerusalem.
Speaking
of that video, there has been a TV alert for
fans in Brazil as you might have noticed up
top. Charlotte
Church in Jerusalem being shown on
DirecTV Brasil Channel 503. The most recent
listing is up there right now so don't miss
it. Thanks to Fred of Team Brazil for his
endless searching of the TV listings for us.
That
is going to finish it up for today, all the
monthly pages are currently being switched
over to June so look for that to completed
shortly. Beyond that, look for a summer
preview, a Charlotte "newbies"
guide and "The Ultimate
Discography" to be coming in the next
two weeks. Until then enjoy The
forums and keep checking back for any
news.
