Hello
Charlotte Fans, tonight
Charlotte has quite a big event lined up
in Las Vegas. She will be appearing at
the The Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation's "Grand Slam for Children" concert benefit
at the MGM Grand. Unfortunately
the Las Vegas Conventions Commission,
who sent us this news, gave little
advance notice. To read more about this
event and some of the other stars in
attendance. Visit the
News Page. We'll have any coverage
that is available from this event in the
next few days so stay tuned.
The
next item in this short update is the
flood of TV
appearance confirmations we have
posted. View the complete list on the
News Page as usual we will give you
a friendly reminder at the top of the
page as each event approaches. Do you
want to see Charlotte Live? Visit the
News Page and learn how you can
attend the taping of Charlotte's
appearance on Channel 5's Open House.
Would you like to win tickets to see
Charlotte? Visit the
News Page again to learn about a
contest that Sony is running to win
concert tickets to Showtime
in the Stadium.
In
other news, CharlotteChurch.com
Version 4: Enchantment has been
launched in preparation for Charlote's
Album launch. Our hats are off to Sony
Music for their great efforts.
That's
your Charlotte News update to start the
weekend off. In closing, we'd like to
thank our viewers for making us one of
the top 50 online music sites in the
world. (#48 to be exact) Watch out next
year. Only a week and a handful of days
left till
Enchantment makes it's first
appearance in North America. From here
on out, it's going to get exciting. -

Hello
Charlotte Fans,
with Cardiff finally wrapped up, we have
some fun items to show you today. First
off, there is some news you should know
about first. If you're in the UK check the
news page for the latest info on
pre-ordering Enchantment. We've got the
final UK Track Listing there along
with links to pre-order the CD and
Cassette. As we have done in the past we
are primarily recommending HMV UK
for your pre-orders. This looks to
be even more important with the
Enchantment release as Amazon.co.uk
isn't listing the proper track listing
for the album. In short we trust
HMV UK and wholeheartedly recommend
them. Of course all the info gathered so
far on Enchantment can be found here.
Yesterday
as you may have seen we posted up the
video advert for the "Classical
Hits" album. This features
Charlotte at the beginning of the
commercial singing Pie Jesu. View that here.
We're still looking to record the
"Enchantment" advert so stay
tuned on that one. Last
piece of news comes from Sony. They are
running a contest that is giving away
tickets to see Charlotte
at the Showtime in the Stadium Concert,
next month in Cardiff. If you'd like the
details on entering, view
this thread. Indeed, one month
from now, we should be talking about this
concert quite a lot among other things. Job,
editor of our Dutch Sister Site CharlotteChurchFans.nl
has sent in the autographed image he won
from the DSOKids.com chat. It happens to
be a new promo picture for Enchantment.
Feel free to print it out here. Finally
today we have some great work from
our new graphics artist Logan. He's made the
first CharlotteChurch.net Screen
Savers. These are a perfect way to
brighten up your computer as well as
promote Charlotte at home/work. Let us
know what you think about them. Also,
Logan has created two
new wallpaper sets as well, including
one based off the image Job
contributed. That's all for today. -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, Cardiff
coverage is finally complete.
It was an amazing event and although
nothing can really capture the
excitement of those who witnessed it
live, the
Concert Report from UKMark and DutchMark
is as close as you'll get without
being in Cardiff yourself. Once again
the guys did brilliant work for the site
it is a must read article. Of
course, a big feature like this requires
some thanks to be passed on to those who
made it possible. We'd like to thank Sony
and the Noah's
Ark Appeal for setting our guys up
with front row centre seats, the best in
the house this not only ensured the best
coverage of the event but also made this
a night to remember.
Onto
news, we've got a TV Alert to tell
you about for viewers in North America: Charlotte
will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno,
Thursday 4 October 2001. Please check your
local listings for the
exact times. This should be the start
of many high profile TV appearances
so stay tuned for all the dates you need
to know as the "Enchantment"
release nears in North America. Speaking
of "Enchantment", the advert for
the album has begun to appear on North
American networks. Keep an eye out for it,
as soon as we have it captured, we
will display it for you. Again
we end today's update with some more work
from Logan, he has two new wallpaper packs
for you yet again. go check them out in the
Wallpaper Gallery. We'll be
adding some new items throughout the week
including the
Classical Hits Album advert featuring
Charlotte as well as the aforementioned
"Enchantment" should we catch
it. Also look for our voice talent
gallery to go online late in the week.
Naturally, if there is any news you'll
find it here or in the
forums first. -

Hello
Charlotte Fans,
we hope the start of your weekend has
been a good one and we thank you for
making us a part of it. Today we have a
diversity of updates, lets get right to
them. If
you've been checking in the past few day's
you'll see we've posted a story that will
likely comfort the great many of you
concerned about Charlotte in light of the
week's events. The title says it all:
"Charlotte flew home just before
attack" read it here. Next
up, there have been some renovations to
the Literary
Gallery in order to split it into two
parts. Today that is finished as we bring
you the a Story Gallery to go along with
the existing Poetry Gallery.
To get the new
gallery off to a big start Kevin
Byrne, one of the regular members of our
Forums has contributed a Novel he is
working on at the moment titled "Running
to Home". Kevin has given eleven
chapters to start and will add the
concluding chapters very soon. In addition
to that both
galleries have new contributions from
Jonathan, John and a new contributor
Allen. This
continues our goal to make this truly a
site where every fan has an outlet.
In that same sprit we hope to bring you
another ambitious project in the future, a
gallery of unsigned musical artists. We're
currently building a base of contributions
but already we have one very bright spot
that you may have read about in our Forums
and that is Claire Halligan. To get an
idea of the kind of talent we are trying
to spot light visit Claire's page here.
If you're interested in this project e-mail
and we'd be glad to tell you more. The
Dallas
Concert feature gets wrapped up today
with more
scans of the concert program courtesy
of Chuck. Big thanks once again to the
team in Dallas who came through keeping
the concert
coverage streak alive. Speaking of
concerts, the
Cardiff concert is quickly
approaching, stay tuned for coverage at
CharlotteChurch.net or read the
preview here. Finally,
the
wallpaper gallery gets yet another
update today with 6 more sets for you from
Logan. He has done a brilliant job yet
again, check them our in the Wallpaper
Download page. That does it for today,
looking ahead in the weekend we'll be
doing a preview of what the second Cardiff
event on 20 October will be like complete
with some exclusive promotional material
we received from the promoters of the
event. As always, stay tuned.

Hello
Charlotte Fans,
yesterday was a horrible day for many by
any measure. Although we try to keep a
rather narrow focus here on
Charlotte, it's impossible to ignore
yesterday's tragedy. Browse any site on
the web, dedicated to any subject, and
it's likely you'll find people voicing
their opinion on the events. I'm
not so sure I have much to add other
than our thoughts are with those viewers
who have had family touched or
taken away by what can only be
described as inhuman acts. Having some
family/friends of my own unaccounted
for, I have a small glimpse of what you
must be experiencing. Don't give up
hope. Moving
along to the much lighter subject of
updates today, here is what has been added
during the past few days: Dallas
concert coverage is nearing completion.
Recent additions include Steve's
review, added yesterday, some
new photos of the venue, thanks to
Chuck and another
review from the Dallas press thanks to
MRB. Today
we've also added the
transcript from Charlotte's chat with
DSOKids.com on the 7th of September.
Thanks again to DSOKids.com
for this great event. On
the news page, we
have word that Charlotte is scheduled to
perform at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games
in Salt Lake City Utah. Stay tuned for
more as this event nears in late February
2002. We've
also got a large update to the Magazine
Photos today here are the specifics:s
TV
Guide Canada, (September 15 - 21, 2001)
"Enchantment Advert"
Western
Mail, (September 4, 2001) "Young Star
to hold concert for Hospital"
South Wales
Echo, (September 4, 2001) "It is so
important that Children in Wales have a
hospital"
South Wales
Echo, (September 4, 2001)
"Charlotte's Concert for a Sound
Cause"
Western
Mail , (August 23, 2001) "Charlotte
Approaches Her Career Crossroads"
All
of those have at least one new photo in
them so definitely worth a peek.
That
is it for today, we're still looking for a
large update to the Literary Gallery later
in the week. Stay safe.

Hello
Charlotte Fans,
there is much to show you today,
hopefully enough to even brighten up
your Monday. First up, Charlotte had a
spectacular concert this weekend in Dallas,
Texas. Today we have the beginning
of our Dallas coverage for you to
read and find out why Dallas was a
perfect mix of orchestra, venue and
singer. Big thanks go out to the Team in
Dallas: Steve, Rick, Elissa, Mark S and
Chuck for making this possible.
Particularly we'd like to welcome back
Rick who has done great work on the site
in the past and continued this tradition
with 100% support in Dallas. The Best
part is the Dallas
feature isn't complete yet so there
is still more to be added this
week. Charlotte's
chat @ DSOKids.com was a success on
Friday, we expect the transcripts tomorrow
so stay tuned for those. If
you want to see one of the latest promo
pictures from Charlotte's Enchantment
album, view the album preview here.
Also a seating chart and interior photos
of St David's Hall, Cardiff have been
added since last update to the preview
of the Cardiff concert. Also
today we have a huge update to the Wall
Paper gallery with 8 new additions from
Job and Logan. If you're looking to
brighten up your desktop be sure to check
these out. Looking
out this week, we hope to bring you even
more from Dallas
and launch a major update to the
Literary Gallery as well as all the
usual surprises along the way. Also don't
forget this is the last full week for
voting in the Online Music Awards, please
do your part to put
CharlotteChurch.net on top. Thanks for
visiting.

Hello
Charlotte Fans,
it's a very quick update today to
start off a busy weekend for
Charlotte. First up is
Charlotte's chat today @ DSOKids.com.
If you've been visiting the past few
weeks you've heard all the details.
If you haven't you can find them on the
news page after scrolling down a
bit. In any case the most direct
link to the chat room is at the very
top of this page, simply click
it to be transported. Follow the
directions on the page and you are
in. Remember the chat begins at 2:00
Central Time which is GMT-6.
However, you can visit at 10:00 AM
to test your connection, please note
Charlotte will not be in the room at
this time. If you are still unable
to figure out 2:00 Central in your
time zone, please visit this
site or e-mail
us.
As
far as site updates go for today,
we've added two new items to the
Cardiff Concert Preview in the pre-concert
press section. One is a video from
BBC news and the other is yet another
article from South Wales Echo. Also
today we have the full size version of
Charlotte's "Enchantment" CD
Cover thanks to Arakaiene. Check
it out here.
That
does it for today, remember Charlotte
has a concert tomorrow in Dallas so
expect a new concert feature to start
taking shape late this weekend. Have a
great Friday.

Hello
Charlotte Fans,
we're back again today with more
info on the Cardiff concert
scheduled for 18 September 2001.
Tickets went on sale yesterday so we
are making sure everyone has all the
info they need to get seats to this
one of a kind event. In addition
there has been quite a lot of press
about the concert, we've combined it
all this into one large Cardiff
Concert Preview feature. Even if
you aren't attending, there is much
to be found in the recent press
reports.
As
you'll read, the Cardiff concert is
going to be unlike any other for
several reason, the largest being that
the entire concert will be filmed and
used for Charlotte's next video
release to accompany the release of
Enchantment. As a result, we've added
a section for this video release in
our new
releases preview feature which was
posted yesterday. As usual you can
expect both these features to grow in
size and info as more news develops.
With
all this excitement, it's easy to
forget that Charlotte has another
concert appearance in just a few days
on the 8th. Also don't forget that
Charlotte will be holding her chat
on the DSOKids.com site on Friday.
If you aren't able to attend, send
your questions in now (webmaster@charlottechurch.us),
the cutoff date will be tomorrow
(Thursday) for submissions.
That's it for today, stay tuned
throughout the rest of the week for
the latest. -

Hello
Charlotte Fans,
we said it was going to be a
surprising September and so far it
hasn't disappointed. If you were at
the site last night you saw we
posted some news that will be very
interesting to Charlotte fans in the
UK. Charlotte is going to perform in
a solo concert event the 18th of
September 2001. This event will
benefit the Noah's Ark Appeal
(Charlotte's Favourite Charity) and
will be held at St. David's Hall.
Read all the info here on the
news page. This is a
particularly exciting event for us
because as you may we have a
very close relationship with the
Noah's Ark Appeal and in addition to
hosting a special
section for the appeal on this site,
we also manage their official site.
Hopefully we'll be able to use this
inside view to give you one of the
best concert features we've ever
completed. Stay tuned for more about
this event in the coming days.
Today
we've also uploaded our preview
of all the latest albums you'll be
interested in the coming months
including Enchantment, the obvious
must have. Lots to see in there
including the
only concert photo available of
Charlotte at the Christmas in Vienna
concert last December. We've been
holding on to this , waiting for the
album to be announced but now you can
see it.
That
is it for today, as always check
for the latest in the
Forums.

Hello
Charlotte Fans,
another really quick update to kick
off September. It seems every month
starts off with some news and in the
case of September it has started off
with the cover shot to
"Enchantment" being
released. Check it out on the
News Page. A pre-order
link to Amazon.com has also been
added. Right now, we're working on
bringing all the info about the
upcoming releases into one preview
feature like we seem to do every
time this part of the year rolls
around. Stay tuned for that and
other news this week and see what
others fans have to say about
"Enchantment" in the
Forums. -
