We are pleased to announce the launch of our microsite for Charlotte’s first movie -  I’ll Be There.  Thanks to Clarissa and DutchMark for preparing this feature. It will be updated as and when we receive more material so please check back regularly. The reason for the delay of the microsite launch was of course due to our coverage of Charlotte’s concert at the Aladdin Casino resort. You can still read all about it here.  According to TV Times magazine, Charlotte will host "Have I Got News For You" on Friday 9th May BBC1 9.30pm-10.00pm. We'll make sure to record this program and create a feature. For those Forum regulars amongst us, we have just added a new Announcements topic. We recommend all Forum members to take a look as we have posted two important threads relating to their use. A number of our team and site regulars headed for Las Vegas on the 19th April for Charlotte’s concert at the Aladdin Casino resort. You can read all about it here. Last week we promised you a new mini site for the movie “I’ll Be There”. We have to admit we have been rather distracted by the Las Vegas concert! Hopefully the movie feature will be with us soon. Finally , a reminder to look out for Charlotte’s return visit to the BBC’s ‘Have I Got News For You’ programme as a guest presenter (view). (View) - Prelude Songbook published (View) =Notes= Following a number of warm-up concerts in Hawaii, Charlotte heads for Las Vegas on 19th April for her first big concert of the year. Check out this early newspaper coverage sent it by Welsh Marty. You might also wish to take a look at our coverage from Charlotte’s last appearance in the city. Charlotte is also making a return visit to the BBC’s ‘Have I Got News For You’ satirical news programme, but in a very different role to her much acclaimed debut appearance. This time around, Charlotte is to present one of the episodes. We have details of the book and how to order it. This is the third time a songbook has been published for one of Charlotte’s albums. Thanks to Job, Clarissa and Monica - Looking Back: Songs of Praise (View) Thanks to UKMark and Dave - Charlotte revisited: Surprise Surprise (View) and Tonight at the London Palladium (View) Thanks UKMark, DutchMark and Dave =Concert Schedule= This month sees Charlotte Church back in the US for another short but sweet series of concerts for her American fans. She’s already conducted a selection of interviews which will run throughout her visit, so American fans should check their local media for details. 5th April - Hilton Waikoloa Village, Kamuela-Hawaii 9th April - Hilton Waikoloa Village, Kamuela-Hawaii 13th April - Hilton Waikoloa Village, Kamuela-Hawaii 19th April - Aladdin Hotel, Las Vegas =Notes= Contrasting the excitement and media frenzy surrounding the run away success of Charlotte’s collaboration with Jurgen Vries on ‘The Opera Song', March 2003 was a very quiet month. The pace picks up again though in April and the coming months. Charlotte has just headed to the USA in preparation for a series of concerts in Hawaii and Las Vegas. Charlotte’s first movie ‘I’ll Be There’ will be released in the UK on 13th June. During the lull we bought you Charlotte’s appearance on BBC1’s Songs of Praise from January 2003. Although a recent airing, this should really be filed under ‘Looking Back’ as we believe it was probably recorded late 2001 / early 2002.  Talking of Looking Back, we have just revisited two early appearances from 2000, featuring improved stills and, for the first time, the videos. Surprise Surprise and Tonight at the London Palladium both feature Charlotte performing ‘Summertime’, which of course has just been re-recorded for the movie "I'll Be There". If you have any suggestions for further features, please let us know. As some of you might have noticed, the CC.net server has been upgraded last month. Thanks a lot to Fred, our administrator, and all others for their effort.
