Charlotte joined Ian
Botham on the closing leg of his Charity Walk for the
Noah's Ark Appeal last Saturday (11th October).
Charlotte was accompanied by her mother, Maria,
together with a crowd of around 1000 people as the
walk reached the finish line at the Athletic Stadium
in Newport, Wales. We are still gathering the media
coverage from the event which is being presented in
our new 2003
walk feature. Charlotte is a long time patron of
the Noah's Ark Charity which is raising funds for the
first Children's Hospital in Wales. This is the second
time Ian Botham has supported the charity in this way
and the second time Charlotte has participated on the
closing day - check out our feature from
last year's event.
We have an early 'mock up' of the I'll Be There DVD
cover together with a new date for it's US release -
January 24th 2004. This follows the recent news of a
new UK DVD release date of February 9th 2004. For all
the latest news on the movie, please visit our
I'll Be There movie microsite. The
dates and even the cover may still be subject to
further changes.
Staying with I'll Be There, we have surprise
news of a special UK screening of the movie. The movie
is being shown in three different cinemas:
- the
Odeon Cinema, Cheltenham on Tuesday 21st October at
10:30 AM.
- the UCI 10 Cinema at
the Meteor Centre, Mansfield Road, Derby on Wednesday
October 22nd at 7:00 PM.
- the Campus West
Theatre, Welwyn Garden City,
Wednesday October 22nd at 8:00
PM.
This is a great opportunity to catch the movie if you
missed it last time round, or, why not see it again!
Until next time, thank you.

September ended how it
began with Charlotte attending another awards ceremony
in London. This time, Charlotte was one of the guest
presenters at the MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) awards,
held at the Royal Albert Hall on September 25th. We
have the video of Charlotte's appearance complete with
a selection of stills from the video and other media
photos. Check out our
feature. You can find our coverage of the
Mercury Music Awards from earlier in the month
here.
As reported last
time, Charlotte made her special guest appearance on
the 'Peter Karrie and Friends' UK theatre tour in
Swansea on September 17th. Complementing our existing
eye-witness reports from Natasha and UKMark, Welsh
Marty has now provided his own
report.
Steven Johnson has given his
first ever public interview. It can be found in
the September 30th edition of OK! magazine and we have
the complete article
here. Let's hope this puts an end to all
the negative media frenzy about Charlotte and Steven.
Those keeping an eye on the UK
on-line retailers might have noticed some confusion
brewing over the DVD release date for Charlotte's
first movie, I'll Be There. Well, the current
consensus is that the UK release is now scheduled for
February 9th 2004. These dates are always subject to
change but as soon as we hear any more about the UK,
USA or worldwide release of the DVD we will let you
know. In the meantime, please check out our I'll
Be There movie microsite for all things
connected with the movie.
Ian
Botham is currently trekking across Wales to raise
cash for the Noah's Ark, Children's Hospital appeal.
Charlotte will join Ian on the last two miles of the
walk, in Newport on October 11, when members of the
public can also join in. Please see our
2003 Walk feature page
for all the latest. For coverage of last year's event,
please see our
2002 Walk feature.
Finally,
we have some new contributions from Jamie in our
Visual Arts Gallery.
Until next time, thank you.
