The celebrations started on Thursday 19th with Charlotte and Maria visiting the children's ward of the University Hospital of Wales. Charlotte is one of the patrons of the Noah's Ark Appeal, a charity raising funds for a much needed Children's Hospital in Wales. The media were out in force and GMTV were lucky enough to get impromptu interviews with both Charlotte and Maria. We have complete coverage of both the GMTV interview and pictures from the newspapers the next day. On the big day itself, February 21st, a birthday photoshoot by Mary McCartney was released to the media. Onto Monday the 23rd and Jo Whiley ran an interview with Charlotte, recorded the previous week for her Radio 1 morning show.  We have the interview in full - it is well worth a listen. With all the rubbish printed in the papers, it is great to hear what Charlotte has to say for a change. We've recently been running two competitions. The first - the I'll Be There Treasure hunt - celebrated the launch of Charlotte's first movie on DVD. A list of the winners can be found here.  The second competition was a tie in with our annual birthday greetings feature. This competition is also now closed - for full details, see our forum thread. We hope everyone enjoyed taking part in the competitions and, congratulations to the winners. On March 11th, the Queen met 180 writers, academics, sports stars and entertainers who gathered for a lunch to honour the country's Women of Excellence at Buckingham Palace. Charlotte was amongst the high achieving women for this inaugural event. We have the best of the media coverage here.
