Charlotte was one of the guest presenters at the Ivor
Novello awards from London's Grosvenor House on 27th
May. The 'Ivors' - one of the most respected events on
the musical awards calendar - recognises the
songwriters. Charlotte was accompanied to the awards
by her boyfriend, Kyle. We have started a
feature on Charlotte's
appearance at the event so, please take a look and
check back regularly for updates.
Our competition draw for the photographs autographed
by Charlotte took place on 22nd May. Congratulations
to the lucky winners Lisa, Natasha, Harold and Kevin -
the photos will be with you very soon. We hope
everyone enjoyed taking part in the competition. If
you didn't win this time we'll have another
competition soon with more photos to give away.
Not long to wait now until fans in Australia get their
first opportunity to see Charlotte in her big screen
debut. The movie "I'll Be There" gets its Australian
DVD release on June 10th. We will bring you more
details as they become available. In the meantime
please take a look at our I'll Be There
microsite for everything there is to know about this
great movie.
Finally some recaps of recent events. We recommend
everyone takes a look at our feature for the TV
documentary "Charlotte
Church - Spreading Her Wings", shown on BBC1 on
28th April. The documentary has received widespread
praise from fans, the general public and even the TV
critics! Our
feature
includes video for the entire 60 minute programme,
over 200 stills and related press articles. We
recently added new compressed versions of the video
clips for those not lucky enough to have a high speed
internet connection. The recent
Radio Times article
(issue date 24-30 April 2004) is a neat tie in with
the TV documentary.
Until next time, thank you.
