Hello
Charlotte Fans, welcome to the last
day of July. I have to say it's been an
interesting month despite it being
possibly the quietest in a while.
Nevertheless I see plenty of action
arriving in the future so looks like it
was only a temporary break. First
off lets get to the updates. I'm still
waiting on the Weekly Feature to arrive
from England but until then take another
peak at this
weeks one especially if you haven't
already. I did manage to get the Features
of the Week finished. The picture
is of her appearance at FAO Schwartz this
January and the story
comes from our Brazilian Affiliate run by
Clarissa. It's an interview
done for a Brazilian Website. Check both
out on the Features
of the week page. Next
up in the update tray is a whole bunch of
poems added to the Literary
Gallery. Two were contributed by John
Reedy and Three were contributed by
newcomer Will Hudson. I had the pleasure
of meeting Will about two weeks ago. He
runs a great online publication called the
Nunc
Sumus Journal dedicated to humanities.
I hope you'll be seeing more of Will at
the site in the future he's a all around
great guy and his writing is truly
inspired. Check out both of these fine
writers along with the rest of our great
contributors in the Literary
Gallery. Next,
I'd like to quickly annouce that Simon who
runs our UK sister site has just finished
his move to his new domain: http://www.charlottechurch.f9.co.uk
. Simon has worked really hard to
accomplish this move and I wish him the
best of luck and joy with his site. I also
look forward to continuing our content
partnership that allows UK viewers to
access the best of CharlotteChurch.net
at increased access speeds. I've
made a long overdue update in the Music
Lyrics page for the Brazilian
Track Tormento D'Amore. I've switched
over to a revised translation provided by
Yukki of Team USA. Check out these
lyrics and you'll see why I believe
this is one of the most beautiful and
romantic songs ever written. Of course
after you check them out go into our Forums
and talk about what you think. Finally
I'd like to end on a serious note. I don't
know if many of you know about the
dangerous situation that is occurring in
Spain. Kenny who has so brilliantly
contributed to our Literary Gallery has
asked me to pray for the Spanish People.
Apparently a terrorist group, the ETA, is
causing bloodshed and violence around the
country thus ending the lives of the
innocent and the defenseless. I ask that
you to pray for the people in Spain in the
hope that they too will find a way to
peace by looking past hate. It is during
times like this that we must remember what
we are all here for and that is the
betterment all humankind. On that
note, I hope I will see you here very
soon, Peace be with you, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, we're rapidly
approaching the end of July. I can't
believe how fast Summer holiday has gone
by. Anyways I have some new concert
news for you today courtesy of Dave of
Team USA. Basically through Dave's
help we have been able to confirm that
Charlotte will be giving a Christmas
Concert in Vienna, Austria as one of the
guests that Placido Domingo invites every
year for a Christmas special. This concert
will take place on December 21st which for
all my astute and loyal viewers is the day
that my original site went public. I
have no word on whether this will be
broadcast on PBS but you can learn a
little more about this concert on our news
page.
Next
up, I have fixed what I guess you would
call a bug in our Classical
Brits 2000 Feature that prevented you
from downloading the great videos we have
of the event. Now that it's working
I suggest you check out this great feature
and while your there be sure to read up on
the excellent material that makes the Brits
2000 feature one of our best. Next,
I have updated the look and feel of the forums
to make them a little more organised. I
have also added two additional forums
that will hopefully spark some
conversation. I sure hope you join us in
the forums
as they are really the best place to meet
dedicated fans just like you. You can view
our completely interactive community just
by clicking on MessageBoard
at the top of this page or by selecting Forums
under Community anywhere at this site. Finally,
I have made a new poll addressing a quite
controversial topic in the news: Napster.
Since we are essentially a music site I
think we should spend just a little bit of
time thinking about the future of music
distribution on the Internet. Basically
Napster has been in the news a lot
recently because it is being sued by the
RIAA, which is the association that
represents the recording industry and its
artists. The RIAA alleges that Napster is
illegally allowing people to share
copyrighted content through their
software. In this case content refers to
music under the MP3 format. Yesterday was
to be Napster's last day of operation
until a court granted a stay of the
injunction that would have lead to
this. What I want to know from you
is really what you think about Napster.
Is it a good or bad thing? Is it the
future of music distribution or is this
just an illegal service that has gone to
far? Vote in our poll then talk about it
in the forums.
Remember that this affects artists like
Charlotte directly so I think this is
something that's important to talk about. I
will see you all later this weekend with a
weekly feature of some kind. Until then,
Peace be with you, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, I hope your week is
progressing nicely. Today I have some news
as well as another installment of
Spotlight on Wales for your enjoyment. First
I'll get to the news, basically we finally
got confirmation that A&E will re-air
"Heroes
for the Planet" which is up for
an Emmy on August 27th during their
"Breakfast at the Arts"
programme. This will air 9:00 AM in most
areas but check local listings for the
latest info.I thank Teresa of Weller/Grossman for her
continued support. If you want to know
what "Heroes
for the Planet" is all about
please visit our very
special feature story. Of course you
can stay to date on the other news of this
week and month at the News
Page. Next
up, I want to point you back to our Weekly
Feature because Paul of the Chimes
Organisation which is the benefit that
Charlotte will sing for during her final
concert of her Fall 2000 tour has given me
a clearer picture as to what you get for
your $250 dollar admission fee. You can
read about this in our Weekly
Feature. If you are in the Baltimore
Area I suggest you take a look at getting
tickets to this very special event with
Charlotte, the cause couldn't be better
and I'm positive you can't beat the
entertainment. Finally
let me point to our latest installment of Spotlight
on Wales this is a very special photo
tour from
Cardiff to LLandaff. I hope it
provides an even clearer sense of the kind
of interesting things you would see if you
traveled to Wales. Ok,
that will set us up for today. Before I go
I would like to send my prayers and
condolences to the families of those who
perished in the Concorde crash on
Tuesday. Please stay safe everybody,
Peace be with you, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, I hope you all had a
chance to see our new weekly feature so
far but if you haven't yet it will be on
the front page all week for your convenience.
Now lets move on to today's updates. As
promised I have added six new
contributions to the Literary
Gallery. These great
works were composed by John Reedy and
Kenneth Shockley both of which are
regulars at the gallery. I admit I'm a
little late on these
since about four of these poems have been
sitting in my inbox since I returned home
from vacation but as they say its better
late than never. Next
up I have two news items for you to view
in Charlotte Daily News
page so check those out if you have
some time. Finally, I have to say
that I'm probably 98 percent finished with
those vacation e-mails but due to the
large volume I received, there is no
telling if I may have accidentally skipped
over your message inadvertently. So
basically if you haven't heard back from
me yet please e-mail me. I try really hard
to answer each and every one of your
e-mails but sometimes it's hard keeping
them all organized along with all the
other aspects of this site both online and
offline. Ok,
that will just about do it for today.
Right now I'm busy putting some of the
final touches on the new
CharlotteChurch.net Channel which we
will formally announce in the coming weeks
as well as working to launch our new
Brazilian Site which will bring the best
of CharlotteChurch.net to our vast
Brazilian Audience. I will have more on
both of these items in the coming weeks so
stay tuned. I hope to see you here again
soon, until then, Peace be with you,

Hello
Charlotte Fans, welcome to another week. I
hope you notice this weeks new
feature on Charlotte's upcoming tour.
It's designed to answer some of the
questions you have been asking. I'll
say it right now, if a concert is not in
that feature either we don't know about it
or it's not going to happen so needless to
say if your city, state or region isn't by
any of those listed then your pretty much
out of luck for the time being in terms of
seeing a live concert event. Please don't despair
though, I'm hoping there will be plenty
non-concert related appearances in the
coming months both in the states and in
the UK so the betting is you will have a
chance to see Charlotte in person with a
little luck. Nevertheless, read the
article and if it works as I have hoped
many more of you will be sitting with
tickets in your hands in the coming
months. Also
in the updates department
today...pictures. Yep I know you like them
so I've got more of them. This time I have
some more Television
Pictures for you from Japan courtesy
of Tomoyuki. These are an addition to the
"Music Station" set but he was
kind enough to send 60 of them to me so I
set up a special
page just for these in the Television
Photo Archive. Next up, it's a new
week so check out the new Features
of the Week. Ok
friends, you could call this a half update
because I'm going to head off to sleep now
but when I wake up I'm going to finish up
the new additions to the Literary Gallery
from John and Kenny (Hi Guys :) and most
likely those will go up tomorrow night
along with some other items that have been
sitting in my inbox waiting to be
uploaded. So please, enjoy the feature and
if all goes well I'll have another update
late tonight. Until then, peace be with
you. -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, and
a happy Friday to you. I hope this week
hasn't been to hard. Well in any case you
can sit back and relax now. Today's update
occurs on a 21 and whenever we hit the
21st of the month that means that both
this site and Charlotte are a month older.
Nevertheless lets get back to today's
events especially today's news. First
off lets get to the big news announcement,
yesterday afternoon I recieved the amazing
news that "Heroes
for the Planet"
was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award.
"Heroes" joins 4 other A&E
programmes that were nominated for this
years Emmy's. "Heroes" was
nominated for Outstanding Musical
Direction thanks to the brilliant work of
Michael Andreas and Weller/Grossman
Productions not to mention Charlotte. The
awards will be presented September 10,
2000. You can read more about this at the News
Page. Speaking
of the News Page,
I've done some major redesign in
that area so that the News
loads quicker and I've also added an
archive feature so you can get easy access
to all the news events of this year. Check
it out at /news/.
While I was in the news folder I also did
a redesign of the Upcoming
Appearances Page to make it easier to
follow as well. Finally, I've updated the Digests
to reflect the current Volumes. Next
up I've added a neat one
of a kind photo of Charlotte
holding her invitation to the White House
in the Magazine Archive. This pic was sent
to me by Dave of Team USA. Dave also sent
me full scans
from Q Magazine so that US viewers can
finally read
this article which has been talked
about quite a bit. Next
lets move to some CharlotteChurch.net
Affiliate News. First up Simon of our UK
Sister site has secured a new domain @
charlottechurch.f9.co.uk and he plans to
move into his new space sometime in the
next week. His new site will be
called Captivating Charlotte Church and I
can't wait to see it. Of course we'll
continue our exclusive partnership in
order to bring you the best coverage from
the UK. Finally I have to announce a new
addition to our worldwide
Affiliate Network, it's my pleasure to
welcome Pablo and his
site which will become our new Argentinean
Sister site to the network. This addition
brings us one step closer to having a
sister site in each major country and it
further validates our position not only as
the most far reaching Charlotte Church fan site
but as the most far reaching fan site in
the music world today. In the coming weeks
I will make another major announcement
that will finally bring
CharlotteChurch.net to the final
frontier of the Internet and in doing so
will allow us to become the most
accessible fan site in the world
today. I coudn't tell you that much
without giving you a little teaser so here
it is:
In
the coming weeks, I'll be explaining just
exactly what The CharlotteChurch.net
Channel is all about. Until then we'll
continue to bring you the Best of
Charlotte as we always have. Thanks and
Peace be with you, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, I hope your week is
progressing well. Tomorrow we turn 5
months old so don't forget to give a toast
to us at dinner :) Seriously though I've
been working almost constantly to get back
to all your e-mails and I hope to finally
finish them up by tomorrow. As a result
yesterday we had no update but I'm hoping
to make up for it with quite a large one
today. So lets get started.
First
off lets start with Concert news.
Yesterday Rick confirmed to me that
Atlanta will be the venue for two concerts
in September but unfortunately the Second
concert was sold out in the mass buying
spree at the beginning so there are no
seats available that is, officially. What
do I mean? Well there currently are 4
tickets remaining to the Atlanta concert
on September 17th but they are currently
for sale on a website at a great markup in
price. I have no idea how this site
obtained the tickets and I have chosen not
to give their address but if you are
seriously interested in these, drop me an e-mail
and I'll point you in the right
direction. For all the other
concerts please refer to the News
Page for the Ticketing Information. Next
up, Friedrich of Brazil has told me that
Charlotte will be on the Sky Satellite
System from July 26 to August 3 on Pay per
View Channel 103. The event shown will be
the Voice of an Angel concert. Now,
lets get to some of the interesting
pictures I've added today. First up we
have a new,
stunning contribution to the Visual
Arts Gallery courtesy of Lourdes from
Team USA. I have to admit Lourdes has once
again captured the essence of Charlotte in
a most brilliant way. Second, we have a
plethora of TV captures so let me just
list them here for your convience: Pics
from Charlotte's February 18, 2000
Music Station appearance in Japan
Pics from
Charlotte's November 1999 appearance on
MTV's TRL
Pics from
Charlotte's November 1999 appearance in
the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
Pics from
Charlotte's November 1999 appearance on
ABC with Diane Sawyer Please note that these pics are the first in a series from these appearances and will eventually grow to be complete sets. Ok,
if that wasn't enough I still have more
but this time they are some photos
from newspapers, specifically Welsh
newspapers regarding Charlotte's July 3rd
concert in Swansea. Currently these
are the only pics available in association
with this concert but I'm trying my best
to get some more. I
think that will just about do it for
today. Look for a whole bunch of Literary
contributions later this week along with a
special Charlotte Concert Guide feature
this weekend. Also be sure to take vote in
the new poll in case you haven't noticed.
Ok friends, it's still early morning here
so I'm about to head off to bed, see you
all soon. Peace be with you,
-

Hello
Charlotte Fans, Well I'm back now as you
probably know. That had to be the fastest
month in history for me but I enjoyed the
time off thoroughly. I hope you were
entertained at the site thanks to the
excellent work done by the staff and led
by Joe. Basically today was my first
day to get back in the swing of things
here. I got through a good portion of the
e-mails you all sent to me but I still
have quite a few left so please give me at
least a week to get back to you
still. While
I was gone I would say the amount of news
was medium to low but we did have some big
additions to Charlotte's schedule so
please check out the Upcoming Appearances
Page for all the latest scheduling
information. In addition to this Rick of
Team USA has compiled a little summary
regarding the Ticketing Situation and I
have posted this summary on the Charlotte
Daily News Page. Basically all the media
attention has focused on Charlotte's Tour
and her Third Album which you all heard
about here first. In
addition to news, Charlotte managed to get
on TV once here in the states during her
2nd showing on NBC's Later Today. Of
course our Team USA was there to get you the
pics and videos of this appearance. Another
item that was added during my absence is
this weeks Weekly Feature and that is
Joe's special feature entitled The
Extraordinary Ordinary Teenager. (Try
saying that 10 times fast :). Nevertheless
it's a complete show including videos and
pics so you won't want to miss it. The
Media Features of the week have finally
been updated as well so you can check
those out on the Media
Picture of the Week page and the Media
Story of the Week page. BTW this
weeks feature focuses on the Third
Album so I'd say it's required
reading. I
think that covers all the major updates
that have occurred but the complete list
will be given below just incase I missed
something. Today I will try and make
another dent in those e-mails, add some
more special pics from Japan sent to me by
Tomoyuki and continue to work on what I
hope will be next week's feature: A
special preview report on Charlotte's Fall
Tour 2000. In addition to that I have some
more from Q magazine, a whole bunch of
literary contributions and some more pics
from last year. Ok,
without further ado here is the complete
update list for your viewing enjoyment:
The
Extraordinary Ordinary Teenager Feature
Story
Later
Today Videos and Pictures
Classical
Brit Awards Videos
7/16/00
Weekly Features
Music Live
and Kicking Videos
A
plentora of additions to the News Archive
Updated
Upcoming Appearances
Updated Charlotte
Daily News I
know that doesn't seem like much but take
a look at those and you will see a great
deal of effort made by the staff while I
was gone. Again if I missed something
please e-mail me or if a link doesn't work
please do the same. All right its been 8
hours straight for me now so I think its
time for bed. I ask for your continued
patience while I get back into the swing
of things here I think you'll find it will
be worth it come September. Anyways,
that's it from here, its good to be back
and thanks for sticking with us, the best
is yet to come. Peace be with you, -
