Charlotte Church was one of 20 acts performing at the Tsunami Appeal Concert on January 22nd.  Arranged in record time at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, the concert has already raised £1.3m for victims of the wave disaster in south-east Asia and India. The concert was beamed around the world thanks to TV and internet broadcasting backed by the BBC.

Charlotte started her set with a brand new track, 'Show A Little Faith'. This was followed by 'Fields Of Gold' and 'Over The Rainbow'. Both the new and familiar songs received a rapturous response from the 61,000 crowd.

Other acts on the guest list were Eric Clapton, Jools Holland, Keane, Lemar, Manic Street Preachers, Liberty X, Craig David, Heather Small, Badly Drawn Boy, Embrace, Feeder, Aled Jones, Katherine Jenkins, Goldie Looking Chain, Raghav, Lulu, Kelly Jones, Brian McFadden and Snow Patrol.

Our feature has already been updated with the video for 'Fields Of Gold'. Please check back soon for the rest of Charlotte's performance. We will have videos and captures for all three songs, together with media coverage pre and post event.

Until next time, thank you.

CC2K4 - The Year In Review (View)

=
Notes=

Welcome to the start of a new year at charlottechurch.net. 2005 promises to be an exciting year with the release of Charlotte's new album anticipated in the spring. The release will no doubt be accompanied by a frenzy of promotional activity and we look forward to sharing this with Charlotte's fans, existing and new. Please check these pages and our Forums for the latest news and features.

In the meantime, a reminder that we launched our CC2K4 (2004) - Year In Review feature just before the Christmas holidays. Check out the feature to see how much you remember (or have forgotten!) about 2004.

Finally, we are in the process of completing some housekeeping and layout changes on the site - we hope you will find them an improvement.

And so onto 2005 ...

Until next time, thank you.
