'Tissues and Issues' claims the highest
new entry on this week's Official UK
Album Chart (w/e 16th July), debuting at
number 5. This is a fantastic start for
the album - congratulations Charlotte!
Moving to the singles chart, 'Crazy
Chick' knocks up a 3rd week in the top
5. While we are on the subject of 'Crazy
Chick' it is worth winding back to last
week when we failed to mention a rather
important fact - 'Crazy Chick' was
number 1 on the Official UK Radio
Airplay Chart!
On the day 'Tissues and Issues' was
released, Charlotte Church had an early
start on Capital FM. Charlotte chatted
to Chris Brook (standing in for Johnny
Vaughan) and the regular gang on the
Breakfast show of London's premiere
commercial radio station. Our
feature
has the audio for Charlotte's section of
the show.
Monday evening Charlotte was at
HMV in Cardiff.
Charlotte gave a live performance of
tracks from 'Tissues and Issues' before
meeting the fans and signing copies of
the album. A day later and Charlotte was
back in London (!) for an in-store
performance and album signing at
HMV's flagship Oxford Circus store.
Our features include photos and accounts
of both events.
Onto the weekend and Charlotte Church
made two appearances on TV. First up was
CD:UK (ITV1) where Charlotte sang
'Show A Little Faith'. Later on Sunday,
she was seen on Top of the Pops
performing 'Crazy Chick'. This is the
first Top of the Pops since the revamped
show moved to its new day and channel
(BBC2). Charlotte's
July 8th
performance was replayed to mark her
highest new entry on the album chart.
We recommend taking a look at the
Promo page
of our 'Tissues and Issues'
microsite
for a comprehensive list of Charlotte's
forthcoming appearances on TV and Radio
and in magazines.
A reminder to take a look at Charlotte's
official website
www.charlottechurch.com.
There is plenty to see and do; from news
and galleries to an appearance schedule
and forums. We particularly recommend
that everyone signs up for the Charlotte
Church newsletter for the latest news
and competitions run in conjunction with
the website. Charlotte Church has
recently updated her
diary
- well worth a read.
'Tissues and Issues' is in stores now.
'Crazy Chick' is in stores now.
Until next time,
thank you.

This is a very exciting time for
Charlotte Church and her fans. July 11th
sees the UK release of Charlotte's first
studio album of all new material in
nearly 4 years. 'Tissues and Issues'
promises a diverse collection of musical
styles, drawing upon Charlotte's life
experiences over the past few years.
Everyone will have heard 'Crazy Chick'
by now so, you know you're in for a
treat with the album.
'Crazy Chick' was the highest new entry
on last week's Official UK Singles
Chart, crashing in at number 2. This
week (w/e July 10th) the single
consolidates its considerable success by
moving to number 4 and, in so doing,
beating off all but the very highest of
the chart's new entries.
And so onto Charlotte's promotional
activity over the past 7 days ...
Charlotte Church kicked off the week
with an early start (!) appearing on
Monday's
GMTV - ITV1's breakfast TV show.
Charlotte gave two interviews during the
show and finished with a performance of
'Crazy Chick'. After the show Charlotte
took part in a live video webchat so,
hopefully some of you got to ask your
questions.
On Wednesday, ITV1 aired Charlotte's
appearance on 'Nigella', the new
lunchtime magazine show. Charlotte was
featured throughout the 45 minute
programme which was actually recorded
the previous week. We will be launching
our feature on this show very soon.
With 'Crazy Chick' entering last week's
chart in such a spectacular fashion, it
was only fitting that Charlotte should
kick off Friday's
Top of the Pops with a live
performance of the song.
We also found time to catch up with
Charlotte's appearance on
CD:UK from last Sunday!
Another major magazine interview and
photo shoot was published this week,
this time in the August edition of
GQ
magazine. We have also launched our
feature for
'Q'
magazine, which hit the shelves on
July 1st.
Charlotte has another busy week ahead.
We recommend taking a look at the
Promo page of our 'Tissues and
Issues'
microsite for a comprehensive list
of Charlotte's forthcoming appearances
on TV and Radio and in magazines. Among
the most exciting events to draw your
attention to are the in-store CD
signings on the 11th and 12th July at
HMV in Cardiff and London respectively.
Full details on our
Promo page.
A reminder to take a look at Charlotte's
official website www.charlottechurch.com.
There is plenty to see and do; from news
and galleries to her appearance schedule
and forums. We particularly recommend

Church newsletter for the latest news

her
diary - well worth a read.

'Crazy Chick' is the highest new entry
on the Official UK Singles Chart, week
ending July 3rd, 2005. It was a tight
call all week between the current number
one and 'Crazy Chick'. In the end,
Charlotte's first single smashed into
the chart at number 2. Congratulations
Charlotte.
With no time for a breather, Charlotte
Church has an early start on Monday with
an appearance on GMTV - ITV1's breakfast
TV show. Immediately following the show
Charlotte will be taking part in a live
webchat so, we hope everyone is ready
with their questions! This is just the
start of another hectic week for
Charlotte as she continues to promote
'Crazy Chick' and her album 'Tissues and
Issues', the release of which is just 7
days away! We recommend taking a look at
the Promo
page of our 'Tissues and Issues'
microsite for a comprehensive list of
Charlotte's forthcoming appearances on
TV and Radio and in magazines.
Take a look at the 'Latest Updates' list
above for all the features we have added
this week! The Jo Whiley interview is
particularly special as Charlotte Church
made a highly polished job of co-hosting
the show with Jo (Temporary link to the
BBC whilst we prepare our own feature).
These features are all from the past 7
days and we haven't completely caught up
yet! We are currently working on the 'Q'
magazine interview and, today's
appearance on CD:UK!
As reported last week, Charlotte's
official website
www.charlottechurch.com has recently
been re-launched. There is plenty to see
and do; from news and galleries to
appearance schedules and forums. We
particularly recommend that everyone
signs up for the Charlotte Church
newsletter for the latest news and
competitions run in conjunction with the
website.
"Crazy Chick" is out now.
"Tissues and Issues" is released in the
UK on July 11.
Until next time,
thank you.
