Hello
Charlotte Fans, Today I'm taking a little break from our seemingly endless concert updates. I'm also posting this update a little earlier than normal because I'm going to be really busy tomorrow at school.
First up we have a rather interesting story added to the
news page that tells about the explosive groth of Classical and Jazz CD purchases on the web. Charlotte is mentioned in the article so its worth a look. Nothing earth shattering here but it just goes to show you the importance of music on the web.
Next up I have changed the Track Listing for "dream a dream" to look more like our traditional discography pages. I realise that this list is still very rough but it will stay that way until the Sony formatted version comes out very soon. Still I encourage you to
look at it as it will hopefully influence your decision to
buy
"dream a dream".
Speaking of buying, I also encourage you to click on the Buy Now link in the Feature Box above. We are really trying every way we can to get "dream a dream" off to a good start and you can help to by pre-ordering it.
While were on the topic of "dream a dream" I am preparing and article entitled "A Charlotte Christmas" in which I will discuss all of Charlotte's releases this Christmas, where to buy them and what they are about. If anyone has any good info that you think could be filed in a report like this please
e-mail
me. In particular I am looking for UK, Australian and Asian Music retailers that have "dream a dream" listed. If any of you can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.
Before I go I have two great picture sets that were uploaded today. The first comes to us from "Dutch" Mark the webmaster at our Netherlands Site:
CharlotteChurchFans.nl. Mark captured these pics from the New Years eve festivities that were shown world wide. These in particular show
Charlotte singing at the Greenwich Observatory in
England, the place where the prime meridian is! Anyways these are quite good and I haven't seen them before anywhere else. Check them out in our
Television Photo Archive along with over a two thousand other captures.
The next set is a preliminary collection of the photos that may appear in the "dream a dream" CD jackets. These are taken from the Sony "Dream a Dream" flash presentation. I know a lot of you cannot see flash so here they are. I encourage you to get flash as soon as possible though because it looks like Sony will be using it a lot in upcoming sites.
Finally I encourage you to look at our Featured Pictures from Newport, Wales when you get a chance. I mentioned them in my last update but amid all the confusion its possible that you missed them.
See you this weekend! Peace be with
you,
-Mark |

Hello
Charlotte Fans, I have a lot to tell you
about today so I'll mention updates and
news first then I'll get into something I
want to tell everyone.
Yesterday
I mentioned that I had no news regarding Charlotte's
concert in Newport, Wales on Monday
well only a couple hours after I posted
that Darren of Team Wales saved the day
and provided me with 4
newspaper scans from the event. As
you'll read this was a very special
concert for Charlotte. The highlight
was when she took the stage with Chris de
Burg to sing his pop hit "Lady in
Red". Again that's only a pinch of what's
in these scans so please check
them out. I will discuss them more
tomorrow but you can always discuss them
in the forums.
Next
up I have two items on the news
page that I added. The first is that
"dream a dream" has been pushed
back to October 24th. Along with this
piece of news I have added some retailers
that you can go to if you want to buy
"dream a dream" today. I will
push this feature much more towards the
end of the week when we intro a new
feature on "dream a dream" but
for now simply click on buy "dream a
dream" now and a window will popup
with the retailers selling "dream a
dream" and links to the purchase
site.
The
other news item I have added is something
we have all been waiting for....The
Official Track Listing! A real special
thanks goes out to Steph of Team Canada
for getting this out to me. Steph
helped us out big time when
Charlotte was in Ontario and she did it
again here. Just click on View
Track Listing and a window will open
up with all the tracks. Again this is all
kind of rough looking now but it should
look better as time goes on.
Finally
it's very rare that you get a second
chance to put things right in life and
luckily I have that chance right now. When
we published our Atlanta feature a week
ago our article on the CD Unveiling
contained some inaccuracies and
misstatements that when added together
painted an unfair picture of the event.
Basically we incorrectly stated the number
in attendance at the event by a wide
margin and we also had other inaccuracies
about what was said at the concert the
night before. The bottom line is I want to
apologise to the Dunbar Family and take
full responsibility for the misstatements.
I promise that none of these were
intentional but they were simply the
result of not taking the time to
completely analyse the facts. I have since
removed the article in question at the
request of the Dunbars. What I want
everyone to understand is that the Art
Show/CD Unveiling was a great success and
not the lukewarm even that we tried to
convey. Over 2,000 attended this event and
I'm told that the average for an art show
such as this is around 100. We also
attempted to make the point that Charlotte
was the only draw here while this was not
the case at all. At the heart of this
event was a fabulous exhibition of
Amanda's works and we never spent much
time talking about this when in fact it
was the entire reason for the show. These
errors might not seem like a big deal to
you but to people such as the Dunbars who
spent so much time preparing and making
sure the night was perfect this is a big
deal. Because of this I again offer my
deepest apologies to Amanda, as well as
her parents. The Dunbars have trusted me
in the past couple of months a great deal
and I felt that I tested that trust
too much after learning of their disappointment.
I will do my best to ensure this never
happens again but like all things we
aren't perfect and mistakes will happen,
the thing you got to do as a human being
is to learn from your mistakes.
On
that note I will bring today's update to a
close, enjoy and as always peace be with
you,
-Mark |

Hello
Charlotte Fans, I haven't heard back from
anyone regarding the Newport Concert which
occured yesterday but I'm assuming it went
well. I'll keep my ears open for any sort
of news from this event.
Well
just when you thought we were finished
with the Atlanta
feature we have more. Today thanks to
Joe and Dave we have a video of the
Atlanta CD unveiling entitled "An
Evening with Charlotte and Amanda".
You'll want to see this for sure as this is to my knowledge the only video
released of this on the net so check
it out.
Speaking
of the CD Cover, a whole bunch of you have been asking me
when and where will the states be able to
purchase the UK CD and all I can say for
now is just be patient. Here in Florida we
have Virgin Music stores where many UK
releases are sold. I'm certain that these
type of mega music stores are in every
major city in the US so those would be
your best bet. I will be sure to apprise
you of other options when they become
available though.
Finally,
before I go it appears that the Forums
have stabilised. As a matter of fact we
now have more members than ever before so
I'd say that's a good sign. Of course the
best way to interact on this site is to
visit the forums so I encourage all the
new folks to do that.
I
have today off so I'll be answering my
e-mail and looking to add some interesting
things for later in the week. I'm also
really hoping we'll get the Wiltshire
Feature very soon so stay tuned. Peace be
with you, -Mark |

Hello
Charlotte Fans, looks
like the larger update will come tomorrow
when we hope to post some video from
Atlanta. I do have some more pictures for
the post
concert section of the Atlanta
Feature for you today though so check
those out. I
will be keeping the Concert Features on
the front till next week so they get their
proper exposure. Essentially these count
as one week each so having them up for 2
weeks makes perfect sense. If all goes
well we'll finally get that Wiltshire
feature up this week also so look out for
that. Believe
it or not Tomorrow is a big day for
Charlotte again, she'll be performing in
Newport Wales to raise money for the
Noah's Ark Appeal. The goal here is to
build help the Cardiff Children's
hospital. I will tell you right now we
have no planned coverage of this concert
since we do not have any staff attending
but I will make a feature if enough
materials come in. Next
up I have some really cool news:
CharlotteChurch.net will be in Planet
Magazine for the next issue. One of our
pictures from the Atlanta feature will be
used along side a story that the magazine
is doing on Charlotte so we are really
excited about this. For those of you who
do not know, Planet Magazine is a Welsh
Cultural Arts Magazine. For more info
visit their site: http://www.planetmagazine.org.uk.
Of course big thanks goes out to Dave once
again for getting us the awesome Atlanta
shots. Regarding
yesterday's problems in the forums
we are still investigating but I strongly
suggest that you re register if you cannot
log in any more. I think we have the
problems isolated so most shouldn't even
notice any problems at all. Finally,,
I've changed the poll to reflect a
question I have received over and over
again. Apparently people are split over
which CD Cover looks best. Do you like the
photographic quality of the UK album or
the Artsy Quality of the USA/CA Album.
Voice your opinion by voting in our
poll. Looks
like more is coming tomorrow, until then,
Peace be with you -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, I
have a really really quick update for you
today to let you know about the present
situation. Basically the forums have
suffered some type of problem and thus 2
forums have cleared out and 4 member
profiles were lost. I still do not know
what caused this but we are investigating
all possibilities. In the meantime I would
like you to see if your profile has been
deleted by logging in. If you can log in
you are ok and have no need to worry. If
you can't, email
me immediately and I will instruct you
on what you should do. I
apologise for any problems this may have
caused for you. I will ensure that all
measures are taken to recover the forums
to their original condition but at the
very worst we have only lost a few posts
and 4 member profiles. It could have been
much worse. In
the news section you'll find two links to
stories which mention Charlotte that came
out on the wires yesterday. Nothing that
interesting but just some general news
that is being talked about. On
my end I have finally ended my first exam
cycle and I now have a tad more free time
on my hands. I hope to perform a couple of
updates this weekend so there is more
coming up. Again I apologise for any
problems on the forums, we do know there
is a problem and we are trying to fix it.
If you have any trouble at all e-mail me
and I will work something out for you. We
want 100% satisfaction and I won't rest
until that's achieved. Look for an update
tomorrow. Peace be with you, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, I
wasn't planning an update today but Dave
and David sent me so much good stuff I
simply couldn't let it wait until the
weekend. I told you Atlanta was 90%
complete yesterday but after all the
excellent content I received today I
should have said something more like 60%.
There's a lot to describe so I'll get to
it. First
up there was a little error in the CD
Unveiling Event's Pictures so I have
fixed that as well as added a new picture
to that area. Next up David
completed his summary
of the second concert along with the
description of the
special moment onstage when
CharlotteChurch.net presented
Charlotte with flowers. Some
probably were wondering where the concert
and post concert pics went for Atlanta.
Well wonder no more, we got both in today
and in great quantity and quality as well.
Dave got concert
pics sent in from the Woodruff Centre
so they now occupy our Concert
Photos Section. Dave also sent me his Post
Concert pics of Charlotte's departure from
the centre surrounded by adoring fans.
There are over 20 pictures in this section
so check
them out! That
pretty much closes out Atlanta
for us, so far so good is basically my
feelings for our coverage of the concert
tour up until this point. It's going to
get much harder next week for the Newport
Concert in Wales because I know of no one
going to it. So if you do know
someone or you are going to attend please
let
me know and I'll most definitely want
to talk to you about what you can do for
the site. Ok,
I probably wont be back until Friday but I
think you have plenty to look at in the
Nashville and Atlanta Features. It's
been 14 day's straight for me and I need
to take a day off, I hope Charlotte is
doing the same. Again a big thanks goes
out to Dave and David for ending this on a
really high note. The gauntlet has been
thrown for the upcoming features and we'll
be working hard to ensure we maintain the
high standards we set in these features.
Oh yeah one more thing before I go,
tomorrow marks our 8th month in
operation and means we only have 4 more
months till we throw the biggest party
ever to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.
I don't exactly know how you throw a party
online but I'll think of something. :) See
you soon, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, it's 2:00 AM and I
got on at 6:00PM yesterday to get started
on finishing up Atlanta and after all this
time I can safely say that we are 90%
complete. Dave came through with some of
the best pictures we've ever received and
David came through with another
outstanding review. The end result is Charlotte
in Concert: Atlanta which along with
the Nashville
feature which signify two of our best
efforts ever. Our
Atlanta
feature is heavily focused on the CD
Unveiling Event featuring Amanda Dunbar
and Charlotte since this was by far
the event seen by the least amount of
people but for the lucky ones who attended
they saw an amazing show. I saw no
coverage of this event in the press so
these are the only
pictures that made it out to the net. I
can honestly tell you that no other news
organisation in the world spent more time
covering Atlanta and Nashville than we
did. I don't mean to be critical or anything
but after some of the reviews I read
coming out of Atlanta I seriously doubt if
the staff on the Atlanta Constitution
Journal even attended the concerts. Plain
and simple the press of Atlanta missed the
point but that doesn't matter we do get
the point and the point is that Charlotte
simply blew away everyone she came in
contact with and she did it with a style
and grace all her own. Newspapers
didn't make the news, Charlotte did and I
think she deserves the credit she is due
from the press. I
also shouldn't go too much farther without
welcoming all those who are visiting the
site for the first time. You can e-mail me
anytime and I encourage you to do that so
I have a chance to meet you. I think
you'll find plenty to look at here at the
site, at last count we had 895 pages of
content. Believe
it or not we actually got some news in
today on a completely different theme.
Turns out Charlotte is coming back to
California! Read the news
page for details on this very special
event. There
are still very small pieces to add to the
Atlanta feature and I will be doing my
best to get them in today. I'm actually
going to take Thursday off but lets start
taking bets that I wont :) Actually, it
won't be a day off because I have to study
for exams that will be held on Friday.
Before I go I just want to thank the guys
who brought you these incredible features:
Dave, David, Tim, Steve and Rick. These
guys really came through for me and I
can't thank them enough. Features like
these really redefine what the site can do
for our viewers and I could have never
imagined when we formed the staff that we
could produce work of this caliber. I'd
also like to thank the following people:
The Dunbar Family, Millennium Publishing,
The Church Family and Charlotte's
Management for their help over these past
weeks. Finally the biggest thanks goes out
to Charlotte for simply astounding
everyone with her brilliant performances
if this is any indication of what the
future holds we are in for a real treat.
Peace be with you, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, I just want to give
you a quick update to let you know what's
going on. Last night as you know Charlotte
performed her second and final concert in
Atlanta. Both Dave and David from Team USA
attended and so far I have heard only
fantastic comments about the show. Dave
will be flying back to California today so
hopefully we can wrap the Atlanta Feature
up for tomorrow. Below is what Dave
and David presented to Charlotte along
with two impressive bundles of 14 roses on
behalf of the CharlotteChurch.net :
I
can't thank Dave and David enough for all
they did for the site this weekend. Thanks
Guys! I'm sure you will all appreciate
their work even more once the feature is
complete so I'll save my big thank you for
that time.
I
apologise for giving the wrong link
addresses for you last night in my post.
They have been corrected so click
away! Finally, I added a little
profile page about me in the about
section. I know this is barely
newsworthy but a lot of you asked for it
so I have obliged. I have two exams
(ouch!) at the end of the week so I'll
want to get everything as far as the
features go done by tomorrow or Wednesday
so I can have Thursday and Friday to
study. Lots more to come this week, until
then peace be with you, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, I'm working on 4 hours of
sleep in the past two days so bear with
me. There's a good chance that some of
this doesn't even make sense at all :) On
a more serious note we are almost through
the big flood of news as Charlotte will
have her last concert of the week tonight
in Atlanta. Next stop is Newport, Wales
for a very special benefit concert but
I'll get to that when the time comes. So
your probably wondering just what in the
world has been going on regarding the two
big concert features I've told you we've
been working on. Well, I'm pleased to
announce that the
Nashville Feature is 99.99% complete
and I'm only expecting maybe one or two
more pictures to trickle in next week.
Tonight I did a major update to that feature
by adding: More
Concert Photos, More
Post-Concert Photos, and last but not
least a Post-Concert
Video. Again special thanks goes out
to the three guys who made this possible,
Rick, Steve and Tim. If they keep
this up they'll give Team UK a run for its
money :) Seeing
that it is Sunday and Atlanta started
officially on Friday we are shifting our
focus towards completing Atlanta's
feature now. The two guys helping us
out in Atlanta
are David and Dave of Team USA. David
already attended the first concert on
Friday so I have the Concert
Summary in place. Both Dave and David
will attend the second concert tonight.
For now the Atlanta
feature isn't complete but it does
have a jewel in it already and that was
the spectacular event that took place
yesterday with Charlotte and Amanda
Dunbar. Both Dave and David were able to
attend this event which was part art show,
part concert. The main purpose of the
event was to officially unveil the Third
Album CD Cover and auction off copies of
the cover to support the newly formed Angel
Alliance Charity founded by Charlotte
and Amanda. We'll have a brief summary of
the event very soon but for now take a
look at some great preliminary
pictures shot by Dave. Before
I go be sure to check out the news
page because I added quite a bit to in
during the past few days. Slowly but
surely we are reaching our goal of
covering every concert in this Fall Tour
so I thank you for your patience. I also
want to give my welcome to all the new
viewers we are receiving, yesterday we
shattered the old record for most hits in
a day so the word is getting out. Be
sure to visit the Forums or e-mail me if
you have any questions about the site. I'm
off to bed finally but I will get up later
today to get as much finished as I
can. See you soon, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans,
it's 1:00 AM here and I'm assuming
Charlotte's second concert in Nashville
went off as planned. Rick from Team USA
was able to stay in Nashville to attend
the concert so I am waiting to hear back
from him. What a lucky guy, two Charlotte
concerts in three days! I'll
be hearing back from Rick later today and
the Feature should start taking a more
defined shape towards the end of the week
just in time for my Exams as well as
Charlotte's big appearance in Atlanta! Speaking
of which Dave of Team USA who will be
attending the event has sent me a clip
from the Atlanta Constitution Journal that
has an advertisement for Charlotte and
Amanda's big event. Check out the news
page if you live in Atlanta because
this one is free to all! Even if you had
to pay you're going to see two of the most
amazing people you'll ever meet. In
other news, we have official
word that Charlotte will be performing
in Singapore on October 18th thanks to Lyn
of Team Singapore. Check this out on the
News Page. This will occur just one to two
days after "Dream a Dream" is
released! Finally
tonight I have a real treat for you to
make up for the delay from Nashville.
These are two of the best looking sets of
Charlotte pics I think you'll ever
see. The first is from
on Swedish
TV's "Söndagsöppet"
and the second is from The
"1999 British Smash Hits Show"
also shown in Sweden. I have to credit Zeb
for these. The resolution on these
captures is so amazing I have no doubt
many of you will be printing some of these
out. That's
it for today guys and gals. I hope
Charlotte is getting some rest now because
she is going to fly out to Atlanta
tomorrow to begin this cycle all over
again there. Much more on Atlanta
later though! Until then peace be with
you, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, happy Friday to you,
as we look forward to what looks to be an
exciting weekend in Atlanta we take a step
back to last weekend with the preliminary
completion of the Nashville
Concert Article. Today I've added most
of what will be in the final feature
including some concert
shots by Rick and a simply must read concert
summary by Tim! Trust me after reading
Tim's feature you almost feel as if you
did see the concert, he captures the
emotions of this fabulous night quite
brilliantly. What's
left to add? Well we got quite a bit more
pictures coming in still for this feature
so stay tuned for those as well. I will
keep this one of the main features for the
next few weeks along with Atlanta and
Wiltshire so you'll always have one click
access to it for the immediate future. I'm
very proud of Team USA members Rick, Steve
and Tim for all the excellent work they
did on this feature.
Once again I can safely say that we lead
the entire world in coverage of this event
just like we did in the past for our great
Classical
Brits 2000 Feature or our BBC
Music Live Feature. Look for this
tradition to continue in Atlanta as we
bring you the official announcements of
the Third Album at Charlotte and Amanda's
event tomorrow. Dave will be
representing us in Atlanta so I wish him
luck on his journey. We'll hear MUCH more
from him when he returns. Finally
today, I know a lot of you are interested
in the status of "dream a dream", Charlotte's Third Album. The
official release date is October 16th so
be sure to keep checking back here for all
the latest news on where to buy the album
as well as any other future announcements. I
got exams tomorrow so I better get some
sleep its almost 2:00 AM! Peace be with
you,-

Hello
Charlotte Fans, let me begin by sending
out a warm welcome to all those who are
joining us for the first time after
watching the Nashville Concert. I thank
you for coming, and I hope to talk with
you soon. Now on to the news. Yesterday
was probably the busiest day I've seen
around here since Charlotte gave her last
concert in the USA. There is so much to
tell you I really don't know where to
start. The
first thing you'll probably notice is the
change in Weekly
Feature. I have posted the
preliminaries of the Nashville
Concert feature but realise this will
not be 100% complete until the end of the
week. Until then you can see the world's
only photos from the Nashville event
posted on the Internet in the feature. You
can also view some of what the Nashville
press had to say about the concert. I have
to say that so far the reaction is
overwhelmingly to the positive side. I
anticipate that the Nashville
feature will be complete by the end of
the week with TONS of more info from the
staff members that attended this concert.
Speaking of them I shouldn't go one more
sentence without thanking Steve, Rick and
Tim for everything they have done in the
past couple of days for me. Not only did
they go to the concert as fans but they
also went with this site in mind and I
can't thank them enough. Virtually all
that will be added to the feature in the
coming days will be from those three
guys. I have to say they are the essence
of what a dedicated Charlotte Fan is. Also
lets not forget that Charlotte is
performing tonight during the second
concert in Nashville and if we have a bit
of luck Rick will be able to catch that
event as well. Bottom
line for now is that Nashville was a
complete success and everyone had a
delightful time. I don't want to talk
about it too much yet so I can save the
explaining to those who actually went. I
assure you that you'll get the story from
all angles as the week progresses. Finally,
if you did attend Nashville, I'd
appreciate if you stopped by the Forums
and posted in our new Charlotte
in Concert Forum! Expect
an update everyday of the week this week
until we are caught up with everything. We
had a catastrophic delay in the UK for the
Wiltshire Feature so don't expect it until
late this week at earliest. Peace be with
you, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, as I write this at 12:00
AM Charlotte has just completed a very
very special concert in Nashville, Tennessee
USA. I haven't received a word yet
as to how the concert went but I assume it
was excellent. I hope to have some kind of
material for you on this event tomorrow
night so stay tuned. I don't want to
speculate on anything as of yet. Tomorrow
we'll also see a new double feature which
will include Wiltshire Festival 2000 and
The Nashville Concert. These should be
pretty good so you won't want to miss
them. Of course Nashville just happened so
please be patient as I will probably receive
the first reports tomorrow night. Today
though I have updated the Weekly
Media Features. The Weekly
Picture is an interesting shot from
Wiltshire entitled "The Lady In
Red". I would like to thank
Keith in the UK for this fabulous
shot/scan. The Weekly
Story is a preview of the Nashville
concert so you can get an idea of what
took place last night. Again
the Nashville and Wiltshire Features will
be worth the wait, I will integrate all
the media clips I have found around the
web into these features so we will once
again lead the world in coverage for these
events. If you liked the Classical
Brits 2000 Feature you'll like these. Finally
I'd like to say that CharlotteSearch has
been a complete success with over 2,900
searches performed in the last 30 days! We
are also on to another record here with
over 297,000 hits this month so far. If we
stay on this pace we will best our current
record of 1,000,000 hits that was set in
May! Thats
it for today, consider this the quiet
before the storm but keep in mind this
storm will last until December at the very
least :) Peace be with you, -

Hello
Charlotte Fans, today Charlotte will land
in Nashville and thus kick off her most
exciting tour of the USA ever. As you can
imagine the buzz is beginning here in the
states and it seems that every time I
check the e-mail I have some kind of news
organisation or someone from the staff
telling me something new. The contrast
between the amount of news now and the amount
of news two weeks ago is staggering.
Nevertheless we stand ready to bring you
as much as we can from this momentous
tour. As
I just mentioned we have a whole bunch of
news that came in yesterday and I've just
starting to get some in from today.
Basically if you want the full scoop you
should check out the News
Page. I will just give a brief
summary here. First
up Charlotte and Billy Gilman recorded
"Sleigh Ride" in England for
Billy's Christmas album called
"Classic Christmas". On a
somewhat related note both Charlotte and
Billy have been nominated for a YoungStar
award. Again the full scoop on both of
those stories is in the News
Page. Perhaps
the most exciting news to come to me is
the announcement of the "Angel
Alliance" which is being formed by
Charlotte and Amanda Dunbar. Basically the
"Angel Alliance" will be a
charitable organisation which will allow
both Charlotte and Amanda to use their
extensive talents to help others. The
official announcement of the "Angel
Alliance" will come on September 16th
along with the offical unveiling of the
Third Album which was announced first on
CharlotteChurch.net last week.
CharlotteChurch.net will support the
"Angel Alliance" in anyway
possible as part of our mission to
"Enrich the world through the Voice
of an Angel". Before
I leave I will give you the tentative
schedule for the coming weeks so you have
an idea of what we are covering.

Hopefully we will have an exciting weekend

-
