 Volume IX - October 2000

Hello Charlotte Fans, today I have yet another quick update for you. As you probably heard Charlotte appeared on "The Tonight Show" only an hour ago (yep, I'm up that early). I have 4 captures which I will present below for you to look at. These will hopefully tide you over until I get the full set later tonight from Dave.

jay9.jpg (19959 bytes) jay11.jpg (21317 bytes) jay12.jpg (27650 bytes) jay14.jpg (22697 bytes)

I will also write a brief summary of what went on as well and that might actually be available this afternoon if I get it done.

The other big update today comes in the form of completed coverage of "The Carousel of Hope". Today all the Entertainment Shows in the USA had the latest goss :) on the event and Charlotte had a brief and I do mean brief appearance on Entertainment Tonight. 6 Captures of this event can be found in the Carousel of Hope feature along with my summary of the event. I wrote this as best I could since I wasn't at the event but it gives you a good idea of what it was all about with none of the hype.

Finally, we've been having some isolated incidents of problems with logins in the Forums so if you're having a problem please let me know and I'll let you know what you can do. Other than that just remember to vote and come back tomorrow to see the full coverage of "The Tonight Show". Peace be with you,
-Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, I have a really really quick update for today but it was cool enough that it couldn't wait. As you know Charlotte attended the Carousel of Hope on Saturday night. Basically this is the premier ball in Hollywood and is held every 2 years to benefit diabetes research. Anyways we got some great pictures back from the event as preliminary coverage. I say preliminary because it's expected that Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood and E! TV will cover the event in their shows tonight so we might be able to add some more information.

Speaking of tonight, Charlotte will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on NBC. I'm assuming that will be enough information for you to find it but if it isn't please e-mail me. If you are overseas don't worry, we'll have our usual complete coverage.  If you have some free time, I encourage you to either Check out the Forums, Read our new Wiltshire Feature or finally Vote for us in the Online Music Awards. Either way you cant lose!

I told you it was small tonight but it will be exciting tonight with Charlotte & Jay Leno together again. Until then, peace be with you, -Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, your probably wondering what the heck has been going on the past couple of days. Well, it wasn't any one thing in particular but the combination of me having exams and the server having troubles equaled not much work being done on the site. Yesterday was particularly frustrating because I had the entire update ready to go but the server stopped working in between my upload thus you saw part of the feature uploaded but none of the text or pictures attached to it.  Today we are back operating at normal speed so everything should be working now. Since I was gone for 3 days I have a bit more than usual for a update tonight.

First up, notice the new Weekly Feature, it will allow us a place to deposit all the information pertaining to Charlotte's California activities this week. Yesterday, Charlotte appeared on the late night show called "Politically Incorrect" in the states. I have a brief summary and I do mean brief as well as some photos and a small video clip of the show all available to download in our California Tour Feature. I thank Dave for his help in getting some of these photos.

Next up, we've finally received our materials from Wiltshire; the first stop on Charlotte's Fall Concert Tour way back in August. Do to many misfortunes we were unable to recieve these much earlier than this. It's a really great and informative feature with many pictures so I suggest you check it out. I have to extend my deepest thanks to Simon and Hannah of Team England for their work on this feature. Finally I really have to give Simon my thanks  because he's placing this story on our site first before his

I also must tell you that due to my schedule/technical problems any e-mails that have been sent to me in the past 2 days haven't been answered yet so please be patient. I will get to your message but it will take a day or two.

Finally, I want to again ask you to continue to Vote for CharlotteChurch.net in the Online Music Awards. I hear the deadline is November 10th so I'd really like to have your vote in before then. You can vote either by clicking the icon below or the one on the side bar above the poll.

Vote for this site in Online Music Awards

That's about it for today but I still have a bunch backlogged from Friday and Saturday so you can expect more this week. I should be back tomorrow with some info on how the Carousel of Hope event went but until then:  Peace be with you, -Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, the week hasn't been going exactly as I had planned due to some shifts in my schedule but we should be fully ready to cover all the events coming next week.

First off that announcement of free tickets to see Charlotte probably caught your eye. Well believe it or not Pearson TV was kind enough to let CharlotteChurch.net in on this special offer. "Open House" is filmed in London, England so if you are going to be in that area and area Charlotte fan you might want to check this out. Quantities are really really limited so I'd call tomorrow if you are hoping to get a decent seat. Try not to give Gabby at Pearson TV a headache though :)

Next up, lots and lots of stuff added to the News Page looks like "Charlotte Church in the Holy Land" info is slowly coming out from retailers and thanks to Borders.com we have the track listing for this DVD. I'll hopefully be able to give you a better sense of direction as to the content on this release in the very near future. In the meantime I have updated the BUY link for the "Charlotte Church in the Holy Land" DVD as HMV.co.uk has a new special site for Charlotte items this holiday season. I highly recommend HMV in the UK as they have been quite knowledgeable and professional regarding Charlotte's releases.

The other big news is that Charlotte released her second newsletter. The last one came around April so it's been a while since we've gotten Charlotte's official word on many things. Read some excerpts in the News Page where you can also learn how to receive your own copy of Charlotte's Newsletter. Charlotte mentioned some dates of private concerts in that newsletter so I have updated the Events page accordingly.

Before I got let me clarify that Charlotte's appearance on "Politically Incorrect" is on Friday night/Saturday Morning at 12:00 or 12:30 depending on your location. If you stay up late on Saturday night your going to be really disappointed :) Naturally we'll have full coverage here for all of our viewers outside the USA.

Finally, I end on a rather sad note. Fred of Team Brazil lost his Grandfather yesterday after a battle with Cancer. All our thoughts are with Fred and his family as they mourn this loss. I'll be back early Saturday morning with the "Politically Incorrect" coverage unless we get some news tomorrow on Charlotte's appearance in California. Until then peace be with you, -Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, I have a really quick update for you on this early Tuesday morning. I have the day off so I'll be doing more momentous work during the day.  The first thing I want to tackle is some confusion surrounding the TV Broadcasts, particularly "Politically Incorrect". This will be shown at 12:00 or 12:30 AM depending on your location on the night of the 27th but since its at midnight it's technically the 28th as well thus we have listed it the 28th. I hope that makes a little bit of sense but if you e-mail me I'd be glad to find the show for you. Also remember to click that link below the schedule it will connect you with TVGuide Online.

I've updated the Media Features of the week so check those out. Great pic of Charlotte and Billy Gilman can be found there.

Interestingly enough I got a chance to update some of our concert features today. Rob sent us some pics from Charlotte in Milwaukee during the actual concert while Dave added one more for our Atlanta Feature. After Baltimore, which is coming up in November (Read the Preview for all the details) I'll be publishing a grand revue of all our concert features just to make sure no one misses anything.

Ok, my plan for today is finish up our coverage of "dream a dream". Steve should have our finalised review coming in today and I will be transcribing the lyrics since it's been widely requested. That should take a bit of work. I will also be attempting to make some strides in the Poetry Gallery which has suffered during this time of constant news. I'll probably take Thursday off because I have Astronomy exams on Friday but Friday night I'll have full coverage of "Politically Incorrect" hours after it is shown so all our international viewers can see it when they wake up.

Also, lets not forget Charlotte is arriving in California this week (probably around Wednesday). I might as well give you the schedule:

October 30: Charlotte and Billy Gilman to perform "dream a dream" on NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno (USA)
October 28: Appearance on ABC's "Politically Incorrect" with Bill Maher. (USA)
October 28: Carousel of Hope Oct. 28 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills, California. (USA)
October 26: Taping of ABC's "Politically Incorrect" with Bill Maher. (USA)

Finally, Christmas Glory comes out tomorrow. Click on the link in the "Charlotte's Releases" Box to learn more.  Joe has ordered it and we'll check it out and report back with full coverage. That's about it, peace be with you, -Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, I hope your weekend is going well. Yesterday marked the 8th month of operation of CharlotteChurch.net and believe it or not in two months I'll celebrate the one year anniversary of my old site.

During the past 2 weeks we've been totally focused on the release of "dream a dream" so other things like layout and organisation have been secondary. Today I have cleaned up some things a bit on the homepage to ensure that all the info you need to know is quickly accessible. This meant having to move the poll to the far right but it was worth it.

If you look above you'll notice those three scheduled Television Appearances I have added. I would like to thank Dave and Steph for their help in finding these for me. Basically looks like we'll be mighty busy next weekend with three television performances in the space of 5 days.

I've also placed some updated news in the News Page. Of particular importance is the news about the DVD/VHS video for "dream a dream". Basically we still don't know as much as we should about this item considering its coming out in a month but essentially it is a video of a concert Charlotte performed in Jerusalem in July. It will be shown on PBS and UK TV this holiday season but if you buy the DVD you're going to get extra special footage. Again I still don't know enough to properly advise you on this purchase but nevertheless I have added links for preordering in the USA/CA as well as the UK above in the feature box. I'll do a bit of discovery work this week and see if I can nail down what exactly will be in this video.

In other news, Lourdes of Team USA has launched her new site called "A Voice Like No Other" I have changed her one click link above as well as updated her network listing. Lourdes has also started a clique so you might want to check that  out in case you are interested in joining.

Finally, I have an addition to our staff to report. Nazreen Hussain joins us after his great work on the Singapore feature. Nazreen will be helping us quite a bit in Singapore and in Asia in general as our audience grows over there rapidly.

That's it for today, this week I'm going to try my best and get some of the poetry updated and as always I'll be passing the latest news along to you. Peace be with you,  -Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, It's Friday at last. Lots of stuff to talk about, but I got a maths exam in 10 hours so I'll make this as brief as possible.

First off I finally got "dream a dream"! Rather than regurgitate what I said in my article about it I'll just point you to the section called "Marks's Thoughts" in our North American Release Coverage. As you all know at the end of the day I'm a Charlotte fan so I hope my thoughts are shared with you as well. Read the article and drop me an e-mail with what you think.

Naturally I'm not the only one who has a voice here, say what you felt about the album in redesigned Fourms, quickly becoming the largest meeting place for Charlotte fans in the world.

Next up I mentioned Charlotte's concert in Singapore on Wednesday, well early this morning the goods finally came in and I'm proud to introduce our coverage of the events in Singapore. Again I wont repeat what's said many times over in the feature but I will tell you there is a 5 minute video interview included in our coverage. Currently this video is being streamed off of Singapore One in Singapore so expect it to be really slow at some times. If this happens just request it again until it works. We'll try to get this loaded on our server sometime this weekend for much faster access. Thanks for your patience and enjoy this excellent feature.

While were talking about concerts, some new pics came in from Milwaukee thanks to David Kay who attended the concert. They are filed in the Pre-Concert section.

OK, that's a really really quick run through of today's submissions. I know I skipped something but I'll mention it tomorrow once I remember it :) Again I apologise for not talking so much about "dream a dream" right here specifically but I get really into in in my article. Lots of stuff coming along this weekend as well so be on the lookout.

Finally, I wish all our new viewers a warm welcome. Yes this site is as big as it seems and yes there are a lot of cool people around here and yes you can actually e-mail me and I'll actually get back to you. Hey! What a concept! Seriously though, drop me a line if your new; I'd love to meet you. Have a safe start to your weekend and wish me luck on my maths exam, like Charlotte I hate maths too so this should be fun :) Peace be with you,  -Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, all I can say is WOW after yesterday. It was by far our busiest day ever and I haven't even had a chance to look at our logs yet. Everyone under the Sun emailed me sharing their experiences as well as their impressions of "dream a dream". I have a lot to discuss with you today but first let me say that if your opinions are any indication to the quality of this album it is not only the best Charlotte release ever but the best holiday album in modern history.

Yes that is a pretty strong statement but I heard that same opinion echoed hundreds of times yesterday. As for me I will be picking the album up on Thursday so needless to say I'm quite excited. I think I've documented what happened pretty well but basically it was merely a case of me going to Target too early. But, as I said I'll get the album on Thursday and publish my thoughts this weekend. I have Steve and Rick working on some kind of official review for us so I look forward to seeing that.

OK, on to the updates. I have added quite a lot to the dream a dream feature but it's still far from complete. The best addition today is the CD Insert Photos. I thank Lourdes for getting me these so quickly. In order to protect Charlotte and Sony I have digitally and visibly watermarked these images as well as removed the text. This has been done to prevent removal from this site and to prevent coping of the images.

I have also added 2 reviews from Barnes&Noble and Amazon to the Media reaction page in the dream a dream feature.

Next, up I have changed the Media Features of the Week. Of particular interest is the Media Story of the Week from Singapore. Charlotte is performing in Singapore tonight and this is a nice little preview leading up to that event. As always I thank Lyn from Team Singapore for this great work!

In other news as I write this "dream a dream" is sitting at #21 in Amazons sales rankings and has been the move all week. I think a #1 rank isn't hard to imagine by the end of the week.

Finally, I have received a ton of e-mails from people out side of the USA looking to get either the Target "bonus" CD or simply the CD itself. Basically we cannot provide this service to anyone since we are a non for profit organisation. Furthermore we didn't have any say on the release dates so I suggest you contact Sony if you are upset with the staggered release. Personally I think that the UK/USA release dates should have been the same but realise there are many other factors at work here. As for the Target special release that includes "The First Noel" and "O Tannenbaum" I have no idea if this will show up in Canada or in the UK however I suspect the UK version will have these songs included. I will try my best to sort this info out for you as soon as possible. If you live in Canada and are hesitating to buy because of this I'd say the odds favour the Target "bonus album" not being released up there so go ahead and purchase the album. Phew, I'm taking tonight off so look for an update on Friday after I have hopefully listened to the album but the word for now is that "dream a dream" is the best Charlotte release ever. Not one thing bad has been said about it yet and I expect that  to remain true. Oh yeah REMEMBER TO VOTE! :) Peace be with you,  -Mark

  Tue · October 17 · 2000 12:30 PM Update

Hello Charlotte Fans, no luck yet! I went to my local Target store and not a CD was to be found. I even looked for Billy Gilman's and still came up with nothing.

I'm hoping everyone else had better luck than me , if you did please e-mail me or talk about it in the Forums.

BTW, some of you were asking for the Target Advert so here it is:

I might be heading back later today to check out the situation again but in all likelihood I'll go back on Thursday to see if they have it then. It would have been exciting to see it sold out but unfortunately I have to blame this on Target not being ready on time.  If any of you work for Target and would like to explain to me your procedures I'd be glad to listen to your side of the story. Peace be with you,  -Mark

  Tue · October 17 · 2000 2:30 AM Update

Hello Charlotte Fans, well the 17th is finally here! Across North America today people will hopefully be rushing out to buy Charlotte's latest.  I know I will be at least! Naturally its early in the morning here so I don't have the album yet but tomorrow will be a big test to see just how "on the ball" Target's staff is.

So if you're just waking up and need to know where to get the album I recommend you go to your nearest Target (which might not be so near at all depending on where you live) and pick up their special edition of "dream a dream". I still don't know exactly what the two bonus tracks are but it appears likely that "The First Noel" is one of them.

If you don't live near a Target but still want to get this album TODAY then I suggest the following stores: Borders, Barnes and Noble, Liberties, Books-A-Million, HMV or any other fine book/music seller in your area. I don't know much about discount stores such as Wal-Mart or K-Mart because I haven't been to one in the past year or so but you might want to check them out as well. Again I probably left out a LOT of smaller stores but I'd stick with the big on this release due to its being so new. If you find a place that had a good deal please let me know by e-mail so I can pass it on. BTW, Target is selling the CD for $12.99 so keep that in mind when shopping elsewhere.

Like I said I'll do my best to get the album myself today but there are no guarantees seeing I have no experience with the service at Target. I'm hoping it will exceed my expectations.

The main goal of pushing the album right at the start is to get a really high debut on the charts which would be very cool. Also keep in mind that Billy Gilman's album "Classic Christmas" come out today as well featuring "Sleigh Ride", a duet with Charlotte. Judging by your votes I don't think many of you will be buying his album but try and have a open mind :)

As for Charlotte, she just finished up a private concert in Hong Kong on Saturday and is going to be performing in Singapore tomorrow night. She'll be back in the USA, specifically California next week so keep your eyes and ears open. As always the latest schedule is on the Upcoming Events page.

OK, that's it for now, I'm sure you'll all want to express your opinion so please e-mail me and participate in the forums. Oh yea, one last thing, remember to vote for CharlotteChurch.net! I found out today that http://www.manics.co.uk is in the running as well so it'd be really cool to be in the same ranks as one of my favourite music sites. If you can't think of any reasons to vote for us, then e-mail me and I'd be glad to give some to you :) See you all in about 12 hours I'll hopefully have some good news but if I don't I'm sure you will! Peace be with you,  -Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, after nearly a year of waiting, the third album is finally upon us. To illustrate just how long it's been since Charlotte's last release, CharlotteChurch.net and CharlotteChurch.iwarp.com (our forerunner) were both founded after "Charlotte Church" hit the shelves. It's been a long wait but from all that I have heard it has been worth it. Even though tomorrow is the official release date a few people have already received their CD's from online retailers. One of those people is John Saragosa, and we were lucky enough to have him write a great "First Impressions" article for us on very short notice.  His article is part of what will be our complete coverage of the North American Release.

Many of you have asked me where is the best place to buy your "dream a dream" CD and finally I have a definitive answer. Believe it or not for North American buyers, your best bet for purchasing the "dream a dream" album is to go to Target. Why? Well Target is the only retailer so far to announce a special edition of "dream a dream". This weekends advertisement from Target stated that it will include 2 exclusive tracks. After early research it appears that one of these will be "The First Noel". The other one is still unknown and will remain that way until tomorrow when we can all go out and buy it.  Those of you who ordered online may or may not have these bonus tracks so you'll probably want to see if you have easy access to a Target store before canceling your online order. BTW , Target is selling the CD for $12.99 US Dollars.

For UK/International viewers, I have updated the BUY CD function to show updated links so click on BUY CD above. Special thanks goes out to BJ for this!

If you have any questions at all about the CD please e-mail me. Many will be answered tomorrow when I finally have a chance to get the CD. (Hopefully :)

The next update is a special addition to the Magazine Archive. It's from a Welsh Publication called "Planet Magazine". What makes it so special is the fact that CharlotteChurch.net helped contribute to the article! That's right, they made use of one of Dave of Team USA's pictures from Atlanta. Really cool stuff so check it out!

I'm still working on the Media Features of the week for tomorrow so check out last week's for one last time if you have some extra time.

Before you go, please take 2 minutes to vote for us in the Online Music Awards. It really only does take 2 minutes (probably less!) and you'll feel really great after you do :)

Again, the big stuff will come towards the end of the week once we have a chance to actually hold the album in our hands but early indications are this may just be Charlotte's best effort yet. At the very least it will turn you into a fan of holiday music forever. Much more to come. Until then, peace be with you, -Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, sorry about the delay in the update today. Due to some technical problems last night when I usually update for the next day I wasn't able to put this up in time for everyone to see it right in the morning. University has also been dreadfully busy but its the weekend now so I will be working on a normal schedule again.

There are a few things added to the News Page today so you'll probably want to check those out first. The most important items are the following:

Charlotte and Billy will Perform October 30th on NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno. They will sing their "dream a dream" duet.

Tickets for the Chimes concert in Baltimore Maryland have been introduced at new price points of $50 and $75. Keep in mind though these tickets only include the concert performance and none of the other festivities.

Check the news page for the latest.

I've also done a bit of updating to our concert features in the past few days behind the scenes:

Milwaukee gains two more sections. One is a section entitled "The Little Things" written by Rick of Team USA. It's a very interesting second perspective from the Milwaukee event and definitely worth a read. Rick has also sent me many shots from the Concert Programme so you might be interested in those.

Atlanta gains a new section titled "Follow- Ups" you'll find two interesting stories and photos here from Atlanta fans including one from a very special fan named Madeline. You'll definitely want to see these.

The Upcoming appearances page has been updated to include the new dates as has the Charlotte In Concert Preview to include new prices.

We've also updated the Photos from ClassicCD we introduced on Wednesday to include the great index photo we missed.

Phew! I probably missed something there but I did upload everything I completed last night so your likely to find it laying around. Before I go I want to run through the schedule next week for Charlotte related items:

October 17: "dream a dream" released to USA/CANADA on CD/CASSETTE
October 17: "Classic Christmas" released to USA/CANADA (Billy Gilman's Album)
October 24: "dream a dream" released to USA/CANADA on MiniDisc/SuperAudio CD
October 25: Charlotte and Andrea Bochelli release "Christmas Glory" VHS
October 28: Carousel of Hope Oct. 28 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills, California.
October 30: Charlotte and Billy Gilman to perform "dream a dream" on NBC's Tonight Show

Keep in mind some of this could change as it has in the past but that looks pretty solid for now. All the latest can be found always on the News Page and if more info on the music releases is what your after please read our special feature "A Charlotte Christmas"

Please also remember to vote for us in the Online Music Awards by either clicking below or on the icon above.

Vote for this site in Online Music Awards

I hope that eliminates some of the confusion and I hope you feel adequately informed. All the links to purchase the new releases are in the Features Box above so feel free to visit your favourite retailer. I should be back tomorrow to focus specifically on the releases next week. Have a great weekend and stay safe. Peace be with you,  -Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, we have a whole bunch of things to cover today so lets get to it shall we?

First up, I have made corrections and additions to the Milwaukee Feature. The most interesting addition being the Concert Photo I added thanks to Dave. I have some more photos actually on the way so keep checking this feature the rest of the week.

Next, I have corrected and added some items to the "A Charlotte Christmas" feature. The most important being those made to the section on Billy Gilman's album which now includes the track listing and some other neat info. Also look later in this update for a neat article on Billy and Charlotte.

I have also made a correction to the official "dream a dream" photo page to fix the problem that some of you were having with none of the pictures displaying.

As if all that wasn't enough I have 3 wicked :) Magazine Photo Contributions for you:

The first is from "The South Wales Echo" (October 7, 2000) and it's a nice little article on Billy Gilman and Charlotte and their recent duets and Holiday Albums. If you haven't read much about Billy check this out! Thanks to Darren (Team Wales) for this!

The second is from "ClassicCD Magazine" (December, 1999) it is a very interesting and touching look at Charlotte as she takes the critics head on. Lots of interesting info and brilliant photography in this feature so check it out!

The third is from "The Western Mail" (October 30, 1999) it talks a great deal about Charlotte's Ford Commercial that aired during the holidays last year. It's quite lengthy and interesting so check it out as well. Thanks to Yuuki (Team USA) for this!

Wow, you'd think we'd be done by now but no! You probably notice that new icon at the top of the page below the Picture of the Day:

Vote for this site in Online Music Awards

Well that button allows you to vote for us in the DotMusic Online Music Awards 2000! This is the "Oscars" of the online music world and we are in the viewers choice part of the competition which means all you have to do is click on the button and follow the instructions to vote for us. Naturally I want you to vote for this because if on the outside chance we did win we get two tickets to London for the awards show as well as 500 pounds also if you vote for us and we win you can get a PlayStation 2. At the very least it would be out of this world to place in the Top 50 so, help us out guys and gals!  I'd also encourage you to tell all your offline friends/family to vote as well. If you want to know how to place this vote icon on your site e-mail me!

Finally, I will bring today's update to a close by asking you once again for your prayers and best wishes for a member of our staff. This time I'd ask that you direct your devotion for Fred of Team Brazil. His grandfather will be undergoing surgery for next week. Fred is a brilliant, top notch guy to work with so I wish him and his family all the best during this difficult time. I can't believe how much stuff we added today but rest assured much more is on its way. Next week is the big week and I have some things planned that will hopefully work out. Talk to you soon,  -Mark

Hello Charlotte Fans, there's lots to cover today but I first want to wish all our Canadian Viewers a Happy Thanksgiving Day! Special thanks goes out to Jan for reminding me to! :)

Today the first thing you probably notice is that we've finally got a review from the Milwaukee Concert up thanks to Steve who really moved things along to get it to me for today's update. The title of the review is Charlotte Conquers Milwaukee so I guess you can tell from that alone that Charlotte did an excellent job. Both Steve and Rick from Team USA were able to attend the concert on Saturday and once again they did a great job of letting me know what went on. Apparently, there were some photographic restrictions at the event but I had a few e-mail me that they got to take a picture with Charlotte before the concert so I might have some of those pics later in the week.

I have added a new Media Photo of the week and a New Media Feature of the week. The media feature is particularly interesting in that its an older story but one that I never got a chance to read. I definitely recommend it to everyone so if you have some extra time this week check it out.

I have also fixed various link problems on the following pages:

A Charlotte Christmas - "dream a dream live in the holy land" (DVD)
News Page
Photos from Jay Leno in Sweden

There were various problems on each of those pages so if you couldn't access something try it now!

I've also added some new photos to the official dream a dream collection thanks to Sony.

Later this week we have a vintage article from Classic CD magazine in which Charlotte confronts the critic's head on, its a very interesting read and quite relevant if you've been following along the past couple of days.

Finally, I'd like to ask for your prayers and best wishes for Simon, our UK Sister Site Editor and one of my good friends. Simon has continued to have a horrible time in the UK, taking a look at his update page gives relevance to that but this time he broke a bone in his hand so this makes updating and e-mailing rather painful if not impossible. I wish Simon a quick recovery and hopefully Team England will be back stronger than ever by the end of the year. On that note I'll send you off, lets hope this week runs a little smoother than last week and just think, next week at this time USA/Canadian viewers will be just one day away from getting their hands on "dream a dream" an album which we have been discussing and speculating on for the past 3 months! Talk to you later this week, peace be with you,  -Mark
