Charlotte made her first true promotion of Enchantment on North American TV in 2002 on The Other Half, a syndicated talk show. The show, hosted by Dick Clark, Danny Bonaduce and Mario Lopez states that it focuses on "The World of Women through the Eyes of Men". Not exactly the first place you'd expect to find Charlotte but the show has a very strong audience among some of Charlotte's key demographics so it makes sense. Enjoy the presentation below.

Interview

Performance - "The Little Horses"

Transcribers Note : For those from outside the USA or whom are unfamiliar with the show The Other Half, the two gentlemen from this show whom interview Miss. Church are Danny Bonaduce and Mario Lopez.]
Mario : "Ok our next guest has sung before a President .. the Pope .. and Royalty. She's also sold millions of albums and has written her autobiography. And she did it all before her sixteenth birthday. 
Danny : "Sheesh."
Mario : "So please give a big welcome to internationally acclaimed and multi platinum singer Charlotte Church."
Danny : "Yeah."
Mario : "Did I say that right?"
Danny : "Yeah you did."
[Transcribers note : Clapping and hollering was heard as Charlotte walked on the set wearing a black ankle length dress and shook the hands of first Danny then Mario and then found her chair.]
Danny : "All right Charlotte ... good to see ya."
[Transcribers note : Mario was trying to tell Charlotte how he thought he was mispronouncing her name. He purpously pronounced it three times almost like you would start to say Charcoal, and made Charlotte laugh.]
Mario : "Char .. Char.. lotte with my accent I think I may have said Char.. lotte Church."
Charlotte : "Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha."
Danny : "There you go. Well I never touched the hand that touched the Pope that is so cool."
Mario : "Oh that's right. So .. Oh my God. So .. you're so young. Did you ever think that you'd accomplish so much at such a young age or become so famous?"
Charlotte : "No .. never .. never. I mean I always loved singing and performing and things like that. But I never ever imagined .. uhh .. I'd ever like .. become famous for it. Especially not at this age. I never .. never ever envisioned it."
Danny : "Now at .. at this age .. since you brought it up .. uhh .. you know .. you're such a classically trained singer and everybody thinks of you as this big opera star. Do you dig any of the young pop sensations .. Britany Spears, N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, those guys..?"
Charlotte : "Yeah! I mean umm .. I listen to all different types of music. My favorite types of music I like umm .. R&B and Hip Hop. That's what I mostly listen to.. so.."
Danny : "Ok cool. Charlotte's in the house."
Mario : "Charlotte's in the house. So you started out.. I heard.. singing like Whitney Houston type songs..."
Charlotte : "Yeah."
Mario : "... and Mariah Carey type songs."
Charlotte : "Mmmm."
Mario : "So ummm .. how were you discovered?"
Charlotte : "Umm .. well basically .. umm .. I've been performing since I was about eight. Umm .. but then I went to singing lessons when I was about eleven and I developed this classical voice. And then my Auntie got onto this tv show .. cause my Auntie's also a singer. But she's more of a pop cabaret singer."
Mario : "Right."
Charlotte : "She got onto a TV show in the UK .. and you needed a friend or family member to introduce you onto that show. So I introduced my Auntie onto the show. The host of the show just happened to know I could sing. He asked me to sing. I sang a couple lines of a song .. and I got a record deal."
Mario : "That is Awesome."
Danny : "Do you ... at this point .. being the sensation that you are .. do you have any chance to be a normal kid?"
Charlotte : "Yeah definitely .. I mean when I go back home I still go back to school. And I still have normal friends and actually I've got two of my friends out with me at the moment here in L.A. so .. Umm .. it's really cool to be able to bring like my friends around with me and share the experience with them."
Danny : "That's cool."
Mario : "Do you think uhh .. being as young as you are .. have you brought a younger audience to classical music?"
Charlotte : "Umm .. well yeah actually because my demographic is generally over thirty and then between the ages of five to twelve. So not really people my age but people much younger."
Mario : "Five to twelve .. that's right .. when you're a little kid you're all Singing. How does your family handle all this success? What do they think about everything?"
Charlotte : "Umm my well my parents actually travel with me which is kind of it's .. uhh .. it's a blessing but it's also a curse."
Danny : "I know the feeling."
Charlotte : "No .. I mean it is great that they travel around with me and everything umm .. but we do argue because you know .. I'm gonna be like sixteen really soon. Umm so .. we just have way big arguments."
Danny : "So you're gonna get a drivers license and all that stuff."
Charlotte : "No in England you can't drive till you're eighteen."
Danny : "That's probably really smart."
Charlotte : "It's so annoying I really want a car so badly.
Danny : "That's saying something smart for the Brits right there."
Mario : "Yeah but then you drink at a lot earlier age too though."
Danny : "Good goin' Mario .. Miss Church you should go out and tip a couple back."
Mario : "No no no .. I'm just saying you talk about bringing those crazy Brits."
[Transcribers note : Charlotte seemed to look at Mario and Danny with amusement over the path of the conversation.]
Danny : "How do you go to school? How do you attend classes?"
Charlotte : "Umm while I'm on the roads I have two private tutors. Umm uhh but then when I go back home I go back to school. So I kinda get the best of both worlds. I get the best academically with one-on-one tuition. But I get the best kind of socially .. being able to be with people my own age."
Danny : "So if both of your parents friends and a tutor.. the Charlotte Church posse is a big deal huh?"
Charlotte : "No well I mean sometimes it can.. can kind of grow, but my friends don't always come. It's only cause it's kind of school holidays and things like that."
Mario : "Ok .. now you got a new CD Enchantment right?..."
Danny : "Right."
Mario : ".. And I think you're gonna .. you're here to kind of sing a little for us right ?"
Charlotte : "Yes. Yeah..."
Mario : "Ok."
Charlotte : "I'm gonna be singing one of my favorite songs which is called 'The Little Horses.' " 
Danny : "Do you know my wife sings this to my daughters? This is beautiful."
Charlotte : "Oh Bless."
Danny : "I can't wait to hear Charlotte Church sing this. This is lovely. Thank you So Much."
Charlotte : "Thank you very much."
Danny : "From her CD."
Mario : "That's right. So here to sing 'The Little Horses' from her latest album... Miss. Charlotte Church."
