- Introduction |
2001 was
a year of superlatives, firsts and amazing successes for
Charlotte. During the course of the year we saw Charlotte
release her autobiography, depart on her longest and most
talked about concert tour ever and if that wasn't enough,
she released her fourth and arguably best album,
Enchantment. As the
world's favourite Charlotte site we were there every step of
the way bringing you the best of Charlotte from all over the
world. This feature is a look back at the events that shaped
the year 2001 from Charlotte's perspective. Below are the
most notable events followed by a menu that will allow you
to view all our coverage from the past year.

traveled to California in Late July 2001 to spend
several weeks recording her much anticipated 4th
Album. During her time there she attended
several celebrity media events. Read

first solo concert in Wales was by all accounts her
best. The concert would eventually find it's way
into millions of homes on PBS later in the year but
UKMark and DutchMark travelled to Cardiff to bring
you the front row seat first.

released her fourth and perhaps best album on 9
October 2001 in North America. Titled Enchantment,
the album marks a new direction for Charlotte. We
created our most extensive site ever for the album
in order to cover it's release and nearly 3 month

performed again in Cardiff at Showtime At the
Stadium, a unique celebration of showtunes
benefitting the Red Hot AIDS trust. Once again
UKMark and DutchMark made the journey to Cardiff to
