Charlotte
made her first stop to promote "The Opera Song (Brave New
World)" single on The BBC's 'The Saturday Show'. It was
Charlotte's first televised appearance of 2003 and quite an
appearance it was. After chatting for a bit with Fearne Cotton,
Charlotte participated in a couple of games on the programme, the
first of which was 'Saturday Morning Fever' a dance to the lights
game. She played with David Sneddon, winner of BBC's 'Fame Academy'
a reality TV series in the same vein as Pop Idol/American Idol.
After that Charlotte & David attempted to break a glass with
their voices for a bit of fun. Charlotte then drew a picture whilst
Fearne talked about a competition. Next,
Charlotte took to the stage to perform "The Opera Song"
while the music video played in
the background. After The Saturday Show, CBBC followed up with The
Saturday Show extra where Charlotte played yet another game called
'Put the Needle on It' which involved Charlotte guessing a song
title while a short snippet was played. The
Opera Song will be released in the UK on 20
January 2003
