Charlotte's role in programme: Featured Segment

On November 17th, 2000 Charlotte was promoted at least three times on UK television. Her first appearance was on BBC1's "Linford's Record Breakers" show at 16:35, and then again on the BBC Children's "Newsround" which appeared directly after. Finally, she made a warmly greeted appearance during the "Children in Need" primetime airing, singing the title tune from Dream a Dream with Billy Gilman.

Leading in to the mammoth presentation that Children in Need has become in the past 21 years, Newsround showed a clip of Charlotte's duet with Billy Gilman, the 12 year-old American Country prodigy. Later on during the evening, this years Children in Need Christmas card, designed by a little lady named Lydia, was shown. Anyone still wishing to support this excellent cause, please see the clips directly below. Payments may be made at any bank or building society, or by calling the displayed telephone number.
