SCHOOLGIRL singer Charlotte Church has spurned sexy girl band Atomic Kitten - in favour of her pop idol Christina
Aguilera.
Opera diva Charlotte, 15, wants to team up with blonde Christina at a massive Millennium Stadium concert.
She also plans to push promoters to let her perform a saucy take of Christina's hit Lady Marmalade.
Cardiff-born Charlotte was among the stars to launch the charity music show dubbed "Live Aid Two" yesterday.
She met Atomic Kitten for the first time, then revealed she'd prefer to sing with Christina on her home stage.
Charlotte said: "Christina Aguilera is fantastic and I'm going to push promoters to let me sing with her at the
stadium.
"She is not on the list of performers but I want to change that.
"I think our voices are very similar and we would be great together. My favourite track of Christina's is Lady Marmalade
- and I plan to give a performance that will shock."
Charlotte added: "I think the girls from Atomic Kitten are lovely, really crazy and I was really surprised at how
well they could sing.
"But at the end of the day I'm probably one of Christina's biggest fans."
Christina performs Lady Marmalade - from the soundtrack Moulin Rouge - in sexy fish-net stockings, suspenders and
basques.
She is accompanied by a troupe of scantily-clad dancers.
Around 60,000 people will watch the concert - organised by the Red Hot Aids Charitable Trust. Cash will be used to
fight Aids around the world.
It will feature pop and classical music and hits from stage and screen.
Performers include Sinead O'Connor and tenor Russell Watson. Robbie Williams, S Club 7 and the Bee Gees have not yet been
confirmed.
Atomic Kittens Liz, Natasha and Jenny said they could not wait to perform in Cardiff.
Liz said: "We are already thinking about what costumes to wear and what to perform. We are going to do show songs instead
of our usual stuff."
The October 20 concert will be broadcast live on Radio 2.
