She's
a Star in Her Own Right
by
Kenneth Shockley
You
know, this young lady has got real class
And what she's doing, my friend, is right
She is going places and she's getting there fast
She's a Star in her own right.
She's a warm young lady who can deliver
You can't deny she's bound to go far,
Her Voice is flowing like a Mighty River
And you know she has made it - She's a Star!
What's more, I can tell you, this lady's no tramp,
She owes it all to Heaven above.
She loves and is true and is a shining lamp
To the young, the weak and unloved.
She will fly you all the way to the glowing moon
And make the heaviest days so light
Charlotte Church is singing her very own tune
`Cause she's a Star in her own right!
