She walks up on stage
Brave and calm
Mature for her age
Without a qualm
The audience welcomes her
And waits in silence
They utter not a word
She begins her performance
They are in awe
Under a spell
They break into applause
She performed so well
Her smile is contagious
They smile along with her
The response is outrageous
Like the other ones were
They've found that voice
The end of their search
Their musical choice
Is the young Charlotte Church
