Thanks for
the Inspiration

It was a year or so ago,
This poet took pen in hand
And wrote you, Charlotte, a line or two--
Which, I know, you understand;
For if since then I've written more
In praise of your music and thought
You moved me to do it, today as before,
-When my eye, by your beauty, was caught.
Dear Charlotte, you know, I'm not alone
In the source of my motivation,
A number of talented artists have shown
That you're their inspiration!
We know you're "just human" and all of those things,
But we're thrilled at the sight and the sound
Of a Singer from Wales who undoubtedly sings
Like no other singer we've found!
...Through our pencil and brush, we hope hearts may be touched
-As you have touched ours, Charlotte! --Thank you so much!!!
