Charlotte's new Album - media snippets

Ananova.com
Charlotte Church is to use the power of
her music to take a pop at her love-rat ex.
In the song, called Casualty of Love,
she claims she never loved Steven Johnson, 19, who she was
with for two years.
The ballad is on the Voice of An Angel star's first pop
album and will hit the shops in October.
She also refers to her mother, Maria who advised the
18-year-old Welsh beauty that Johnson was unsuitable for
her.
Charlotte sings: "Had sickness, he was my medicine, so in
lust, he could have been anyone, not so special... Mama's
right after all.
"Oh what I didn't know, I never loved him so... what was
real.
"Mama was right, it was no love at all, in my mind, just an
obsession with him, what a waste of my time."
CHARLOTTE SET TO RELEASE POP ALBUM
HER private life attracts more attention
than her professional one - but that could all be about to
change for our favourite teen Charlotte Church.
The finishing touches are being put to her first
non-classical album and insiders predict a smash. The CD
will be released by Sony around October and will feature
songs written by Guy Chambers and Gary Barlow.
A source tells us: "It's upbeat pop-oriented, not r&b, and
it'll shock a lot of people. The record company didn't know
what she was going to come up with, but now they're rubbing
their hands with glee because they know it's going to sell
by the bucketload." You go, girl...

Passion Of The Christ - Songs

Musicians inspired to sing more
praises with 'Passion'
The Passion of the Christ already spawned John Debney's
exotic score and a set of previously released tunes that
dovetail with the film's message of sacrifice and
redemption. A third CD, The Passion of the Christ: Songs, is
due Aug. 31 (coinciding with the release of the DVD). The
12-track disc, on Lost Keyword Records, a new imprint of
Wind-Up, contains original songs composed and performed by
artists responding to Mel Gibson's depiction of Jesus' last
12 hours.
Scott Stapp enlists Canadian rock band the Tea Party on
first single Relearn Love, which is released to pop and rock
radio formats Aug. 10. It marks the former Creed singer's
solo debut. Other offerings are How Many Lashes by Kirk
Franklin with Yolanda Adams, New Again by Brad Paisley and
Sara Evans, Finding My Own Way by
Charlotte Church, Truly Amazing by P.O.D., The
Passion by Lauryn Hill and Miracle of Love by BeBe Winans
and Angie Stone. Steven Curtis Chapman, MxPx, Mark Hoppus,
Dan Lavery, Big Dismal and Eric Durrance also contribute.
Release schedule update: The album is released on
August 31st in the USA and on September 6th in the UK.
