Although Charlotte has performed at a number of other outdoor
concerts inWales, including the National Assembly concert in Cardiff Bay, Sunday's will be her most ambitious programme.
The Concert will start at 5pm with a performance from the West Glamorgan Youth Brass Band.
Charlotte, 14, will start the solo performances just after 8pm when she sings LLoyd
Webber's classic Pie Jesu, the song for which she is
probably best known. Her programme will also include Ave Maria,
Danny Boy, Guide Me O Thou Great Redeemer, Summertime and Bali Hai.
The National Chamber Orchestra of Wales will perform Tchaikovsky's
1812 Overture for the finale as fireworks take to the skies.
Howrd, who was born in the Merthyr Tydfil but now lives in Canada, will
sing Ole Man River, Rodrigo's Aria, Some Enchanted Evening and
Anthem from Chess.
Howard, 39, may not be as famous as Charlotte in Wales but the
International opera star is well-known in Canada and America. His publicist John Kendall said he was now making more frequent
appearances in Britain and the rest of Europe.
Howard, who takes his name from actor/singer howard Keel, recently
released his latest CD, Make Believe - The Hollywood Britones,
which is a tribute to Hollywood stars like Keel.
The album includes a number of songs from popular musicals, such as
Show Boat, Oklahoma, Annie Get Your Gund, Seven brides for
Seven Brothers and Carousel.
Like Charlotte, he is about to start recording a new Christmas album in London.
Howard's next appearance in Wales will be at the national Eistedddfod
Llanelli in August
Charlotte's next performance will be on a much smaller scale - she
will be taking to the stage with her her fellow pupils at Howell's School in Cardiff next week for the annual summer concert.
