"Rise of an Angel"
Only two months after the release of the first album "Voice of an Angel", which soared to Platinum in the UK and Double Platinum shortly after. During this time 750,000 records were sold in the U.S. This astounding debut in the U.S. was
followed by countless television appearances on shows such as Rosie O'Donnell, David Letterman, Jay Leno,
Oprah Winfrey, Regis and Kathy, and Donnie and Marie.
After here successful launch in the U.S. she followed it up with another great tour, this time in Asia. She had a large following
everywhere she went. Some of the greatest crowds could be found in Japan where the flashbulbs went wild
every time Charlotte showed her beautiful face.
Other highlights followed for Charlotte, namely singing for Prince Charles on his birthday as well as opening the Welsh Assembly for the Queen. An audience was also found with Prime Minister Blair in the Uk. She also sung for President Clinton during her tour of the U.S. Although she met with many dignitaries her most profound visit was with the the Pope. Charlotte, being a Catholic, was profoundly moved by her visit with the Papal Father where he referred to her as "The Singer".
Charlotte also filled in a special request to sing at media mogul
Rupert Murdoch's wedding. She was quite in awe flying out to New York in Murdoch's multi million dollar Jet where she then flew in a helicopter to his large yacht in New York Harbour. The wedding was held there to be kept in utmost privacy. It was probably Charlotte's most intimate performances but alas it never was heard.
Despite jet setting around the world and meeting with some of its most powerful figures Charlotte never stopped being a normal school girl. She tried her best to maintain her great grades in school and at the same time have a normal social life back at home in Wales. By all accounts she succeeded greatly.
Charlotte garnered even more attention when she sang her first true live concert "Voice of an Angel". The videotape and DVD versions of the performance have gone on to become some of the best selling videos of their kind in history.

The video highlighted what had been a brilliant rise to success. Now everywhere Charlotte went her megawatt smile drew
crowds. Her contagious laughter and bubbly personality held the whole world on a string. Her radiance continued to glow even brighter as success after success
piled up.
